Harborough Energy

Harborough Energy aim to keep energy costs low for residents in and around Market Harborough. We do this by helping to set up viable local clean energy projects and matching them up with community investors.

Harborough Energy believe that it’s time to create sustainable clean energy at a local level. This presents great opportunities for residents, landowners and community investors. We already have 170 kW of community owned solar projects where is the case in the Harborough area.

The energy creation projects vary but each one needs to be commercially viable as well as being attractive to investors and the wider Harborough community.

We believe that the potential for matching up land / building owners with space to house energy generating equipment in the Harborough area is significant and likely to grow in the future.
