we are raising money for a centre in Long Eaton. We try to be there for animals and their owners in distress. to do this we need foster carers, fund raisers
Harc - Hope Animal Rescue Centre Description
Hope Animal Rescue Centre was created in 2011 after the founder realised just how many people were having to say goodbye to their loved pets due to changes in circumstances that meant they weren’t able to look after their pets for a period of time. Hospital stays, homelessness or changes in personal circumstances were forcing people to give up their pets simply because they had no-one to look after them until they got back on their feet.
H. A. R. C provide short-term or long-term foster homes to bridge the gap so that people and their pets can be reunited.
We also rescue and rehome animals that have found themselves homeless and alone. These include animals whose owners can no longer care for them, pound dogs that have only 7 days to find a rescue space and even police-referred cases where animals are in need.

Foster needed for a Pom/ Yorkshire. 2, yrs old Not gd other dogs or small kids. Small dog syndrome by the sound of it. Mum is in hospital and he has been in kennels Just needs patience and love till mum can get home
The two cats whose mum is in hospital have found the move stressful and have diarrhea. They are with a vet nurse so getting all the care they need However the could do with Hills or Royal Canin gastro intestinal to get the gut flora
This is Toby. 2 yrs old He has been left alone as owner is a student with an evening job. He is good cats and dogs. Needs an active home
The stray boy. Very friendly. He was enjoying dinner, so wasnt too keen on posing
This wonderful 8 yr old Australian Shepherd needs a fabulous new home. Owner gone into hospital Solo has competed in flyball and is a very active boy who needs lots of exercise, mental stimulation. He has been through a lot recently ,so needs and experienced handler . He would love a country home, or a flyball/ agility home. Has all vaccs up to date and full ver history , never been ill. ... He is near Bristol and new owner must be prepared to go meet him. Gorgeous big strong boy

Stray cat is black with white paws boy. He may be old, will get checked at vets. Very friendly but been around Thoresby rd since summer. Lady asked neighbours but no one knows him We have him now so out the cold , but needs a nice house. Cat free or able to separate till he has had his blood tests. Fantastic generous wonderful people. I cannot thank you enough fir your support for this so sweet girl. I just paid Honeys bill in full, with some left over for the next week. I pray she gets a loving home soon. Thank you all Honeys kennel bill is in serious trouble . We should have paid by last night or find somewhere else . There isnt anywhefe. We owe £210 plus next weeks £280. We have £60 Our fund raising events will not be in time Please I pray will someone help
For those who do not know why we pay kennels for Honey in Scotland. The Dangerous Dogs Act is deed not breed in Scotland. In England your dog nay be seized because it measures a certain shape with a measuring tape. These dogs have never done anything wrong. They are held for years and years Some with no human contact such as cuddles ,walks. They are considered dangerous under the dangerous dogs act though have done nothing.... You cannot visit You cannot know if they are sick, or get them treatment You cannot be there when they are put to sleep. Over 3,000 innocent pet dogs have been taken from families and killed It will cost you many thousands of pounds to go to court to try to get them exempted, like Olive , and China , their families fought for years to get their pet home. Even if they win, exempted dogs must be forever muzzled when out, can never run free again. If you die they cannot chang owners You have to reapply if you move house This is why we pay kennels till Honey gets a home in Scotland We are miles short of her bill a d she faces wviction in the morning. We have no where for her to go Pmease will people help till our fund taising events bring in the moneybto keep her safe Or someone offers acsuitable home

There is a stray cat out in this cold as we still have no volunteers to foster it. Sex and age unknown We will get neutered if required, and pay all vets fees Needs to be away from other cats till tested for feline aids and leukemia Please will you let this wee soul in out the rain. Long eaton
This is exactly why we exist We care for the pets when folk die, we take them to visit owners when the facilities allow us to, We keep pets safe till owners can care for them again We need support and carers... This is a wonderful story it made me cry a caring lady made a difference to both of them

HARC have changed the life of so many animals. The Bosnian street dog Toby for example, was due to be killed like many stray dogs there. Rescued by a lady and brought to England, HARC have found him a new home and a new life.
Fantastic rescue saved & rehomed countless animals- run by one lady & wonderful fosterers- they do amazing work know this person shes an inspiration & the most devoted total animal lover... please support harc as they may have to close if unable to get more funding which would be a tragedy & a great loss for all abandoned abused lost animals.
