They allowed my bike to leave the shop, without a functional test. I’ve since then had an issue which I had to take elsewhere to get fixed at my own expense because I chose to get the issue fixed at the side of the road, rather than travel back to them. A simple apology would have been appreciated.

They may have the knowledge, but service was shoddy.

Very amazing for a bike shop. I'm doing a round the world cycle and they have been custom building my surly disc trucker with me slowly to work along side my budget for 6 months roughly. I collect the bike Saturday.

The staff are real friendly, knowledgable and only want what's the very best for their customers. They excel in going the extra mile to meet your needs. Its your bike and your money and your build if you like custom exactly the way you want it.

My bike is far from cheap as it needs to last 21000 miles round the world without breaking but its a beautiful build with a rohloff hub and dynamo lights and an electric generator hub. Will have a few other extra things for charging devices for sure and a Garmin. The bars had to be ordered elsewhere but are Jeff Jones h loop. Amazing product like the rohloff. The brakes are hydraulics. Haroves have been kind enough even when custom building my 36 spoke DT swiss wheels with the strongest lacing pattern and spoke choice available to offer unbeatable prices and discounts in support of my trip.

So once again I recommended shopping here whatever your bike choice or budget or ambition. This shop will see you through to live your ambition up to full potential.

I'm proudest too to realise how much and quickly they want to see me on the road than dreaming over my nearly built bike in the shop so they are going the extra mike. This Saturday I expect it will feel like Christmas has come early. Can't wait.

This shop is dangerously good ;-) From the latest Moon LED lights to internet prices for Carbon road bikes, with great knowledge to match. They helped me put together my ultimate carbon commuting bike, with aerobars and panniers without a hint of questioning why - sure enough my journeys are now 25% faster with no more back strain. Keep up the good work

The only bike chain that I use! (except the ones on my bike of course) Informative staff and great prices. There may be a shop not far away that was less impressive when I tried to purchase a bike (along the lines of sell the customer what he wants not what you want).

Can't thank these guys enough! We were on our way to pick up some bikes for an event the following day and got stuck on a shut motorway for an hour and a half, meaning we'd have arrived over an hour after the shop closed. We gave them a call and they offered to re-open for us that evening once we'd got out of the traffic. Customer service above and beyond. Really grateful, as we wouldn't have been able to do the event otherwise! Cheers guys!

Greg and the team at Hargroves Fareham have been fantastic at offering advice and information regarding my purchase of a new Road Bike. Been on Hybrids for the last 3 bikes and was ready to go back to Road. They certainly know their stuff and are always more than happy to chat. Greg is so passionate, knowledgeable and helpful, you really shouldn't be going anywhere else for your next purchase, no matter what level of experience you have or money in your budget....oh...and the complimentary coffe is great too!!!

As always a very helpful professional service from Hargroves, Greg is my go to for bikes advise, purchases etc I value all of the staff but Greg is exceptional he goes above and beyond to help 5stars for great people

Great service received last Saturday with my broken Colnago. They took it in to have a look at something and were excellent; great staff!

Thanks to Greg and the team for providing the kind of service we all hope to receive but so rarely do. There is a reason some independent bike shops survive and Hargroves is a great example.
