Thankfully we have had no burglary reports in Harlesden in the last two days, but burglaries are on the increase across London.
Please keep an eye out for any suspicious behaviour and call 101 for non emergency or 999 if you see a crime in progress.

Brent Police have undertaken proactive work over the past weeks utilising a number of tactics under Operation Hope. This operation aims to improve the quality of life for residents and community members in Harlesden. These tactics have included uniformed disruption patrols, execution of drugs warrants and use of closure powers.
Partners such as London Borough of Brent Council and their contractors have been undertaking simultaneous work such as trading standards and parking ...enforcement along with street-cleaning and other tactics.
On Wednesday 14th March 2018, the Metropolitan Police led by Brent officers executed a number of warrants in a pre-planned operation. Police arrested five persons for offences including drugs supply, possession of drugs and other offences. Investigations continue into these persons and other offences and other offenders.
A number of suspects remain outstanding and enquires continue to locate and detain those suspects. Invited members of the press and community members have been present at both arrest phases of this operation, enabling partner observations into police action.

Police arrested twelve persons for offences including possession of firearms, drugs supply, possession of drugs and other offences. Investigations continue in to these persons, other offences and offenders.
