Harnham Evening Wi

We are a local branch of the Womens Institute situated in Harnham, which is on the outskirts of Salisbury. We meet on the 3rd Tuesday every month at 7pm.

We are part of the National Federation of the Women's Institute, more commonly know as the WI. Harnham Evening branch has been active for sixty years and we meet at 7pm every third Tuesday in the month at the Parish Hall. The meeting includes a short 'business' meeting where we share information passed down from National and District headquarters, and from other local branches of the WI. The meeting also includes presentations by various speakers. Topics have been as diverse as the history of chocolate, volunteering in Romania, life modelling and medical emergencies. We are always on the look-out for interesting speakers.
We also arrange trips and outings and welcome suggestions for outings, from members.
We are a lively and friendly group, and are currently expanding our membership, however, we also welcome visitors and hope they will become members too.
