What a beautiful place to buy something special. Alice has designed our wedding rings (such a beautiful design, I almost cried!) and I can't wait to see the finished product on my finger! I've also entrusted them with the restoration of my grandmother's engagement ring, which I am also very excited about seeing again. My engagement finger has felt bare without it. 💟

I just want to say a massive thank you to Christiana Forou at Harriet Kelsall. I went to her days before my wedding as my wedding ring had been made, by another manufacturer, firstly too large and then adjusted too small.

As a man not used to but excited about wearing my wedding ring the whole experience left me feeling down.

I went to HK jewellery and met Christiana. Her customer service was impeccable, she was kind and patient and talked me through the process at all times.

I left with a ring that fit but more importantly confidence in the knowledge that the ring wouldn't cut the circulation from my finger nor would it fall off and get lost.

I felt compelled to write a review because I imagine that the designers like Christiana get judged on their creative skills frequently but as important is the personal side of things and with Christiana I couldn't have asked for more.

Went here over the Easter weekend for the Easter Egg hunt, which was well organised! I brought my wife a lovely necklace which was beautifully crafted and she has not taken it off since.

Wasted a lot of money on poor craftsmanship and terrible customer service. I purchased a diamond engagement ring that I found on the Harriet Kelsall website via phone, and it was shipped to the US. My fiancee wore it periodically over the next year, and had it stored in her jewelry box for about 6 months after we were married. Then for a special occasion, she wore it for about three hours to a restaurant and symphony, and when we returned home, the diamond had fallen out of the ring. It was never struck, was pristine, and in fact, after paying hundreds of dollars to ship it insured back to the UK, the staff at HK agreed that there was no indication of any damage, and all signs pointed to the diamond simply falling out. They proceeded to quote us for a full replacement diamond cost, including labor, and refused to give any kind of discount for the manufacturing defect. We asked them to ship the ring back as-is, but upon shipping it back, they categorized the item as sold goods, which forced us to re-pay the hundreds of dollars in customs import fees BASED ON THE FULL VALUE OF THE ORIGINAL RING! This was a terrible and stressful experience and an expensive lesson learned. Stay away from Harriet Kelsall Jewellery.

HK jewellery designed me a lovely eternity ring, including two diamonds from my broken original engagement ring, listening to what I liked and what was important to me. I have ended up with a lovely ring which was designed with my budget in mind, and it has real sentimental value too. When I can afford it, I will be commissioning them to make me something from the rest of my broken ring!

Fantastic service. My fiance had a bespoke ring made for me and I could not be more thrilled for how it has turned out. I look at other rings in high street jewellery shops and I still haven't seen a ring that compares to the one I have on my finger right now.

My fiance said it was a great experience designing the ring, and we could not be happier. He worked with Laurie McGrath who he said was very helpful, accommodating and made the whole process smooth and easy.

Would definitely recommend to all!

Approached Harriet Kelsall for an eternity ring for our 10th annivesary. Commissioned a ring with a designer called Rebecca, we were happy with the design and went ahead, leaving my engagement and wedding band with them to be 'polished up' in the process. Several weeks later we collected the rings. It became apparent the eternity ring had been made to the wrong size and whilst the initial stance was 'Well, you'll have to pay if it's your mistake', when we trekked all the way back to have the ring measured and it was undoubtedly their mistake, they agreed to resize it at their cost.
We left, but were neither offered a receipt for the ring nor naively did we ask for one and had to chase it up twice before they emailed one through 4 days later (no guarantees it would be ready before christmas).
In the midst of all of this, we also noticed that my engagement ring appeared to have been altered slightly on the claws (they were flattened at the level of the wedding band on both sides when I am sure that they had been rounded like the rest of claws to their full height beforehand). My husband is not one for conflict, intially said there was nothing we could do about this so we decided initially just to leave it. However, unhappy about the way things had gone in several ways, we did query it when we returned to collect the resized eternity ring and were told 'I swear that we haven't done anything other than polish it up and it would have to have been buffed for the claws to have become flattened; it must just be wear against the wedding band'. I queried this as I only wear the engagement ring one way round, so only one side of the claws would have been against the wedding band for it to wear and I really do not recall the side of the claw bases being 'flat' prior to their 'polish'. Conversely, in the same conversation about the resizing of the eternity ring, we were equally emphatically told 'Oh I don't know how the goldsmith did it, I just gave it to him and it came back bigger'.
It's a remarkable feat that on one hand they can be so emphatic that something has not been altered despite quite an obvious but slight change to the claws on my engagment ring, yet be equally emphatic about the fact they 'don't know' how the eternity ring was enlarged to the size it should have been. As it was only today that we picked it up, I've had a little time to look closely at it and I'm fairly certain that they've simply shaved off the inside surface of the ring which is now flat when it had previously been slightly bulbous to enlarge it. And whilst I expect this is a typical way of enlarging a ring, the fact remains it should have been a larger size as agreed in the first place so what we have now is a ring that was made too small to start with (for which we paid in full) and now the same ring presumably with less metal with no corresponding reduction in costs and I feel very disappointed by the whole process. Yes, the ring itself is what we wanted, but it was not made to the correct size in the first instance and sadly I have no photos up close of my engagement ring to argue otherwise.
So, in all would I ever return to HK? Not at all. And from the experience, I certainly have learnt many things; not least, to take detailed photos any jewellery being left with a jeweller, get everything in writing; the original receipt for the eternity ring only detailed the metal, the diamonds but not the band size and again, the initial reaction to our query about the size was met with flat denial and 'Oh but I've looked through the notes and it says 'K' to which I had to quote verbatim the conversation we had had about it being closer to my knuckle therefore needing to be a K and 1/2 which also corresponded to the ring measure taken on the day (my wedding band was in fact K). It's left me very sad about the whole purchase, it was supposed to have been a celebration of our marriage but made the whole thing a huge headache; far from a pleasure and given the price we paid, I am deeply disappointed by the whole experience, I expected better.

I asked Sarah at Harriet Kelsall jewellery to help me design a bespoke engagement ring inspired by the northern lights so I could propose to my girlfriend during a trip to Lapland. Sarah did a fantastic job designing it, as did the team making it. Great customer service and quality, and the ring was made on a tight timeline in time for the trip. It went down very well and most importantly she said yes!! :)

My engagement ring and wedding rings were designed by Harriet 6 years ago and I have never seen anything like them anywhere. The ripple pattern on the wedding rings was an amazing choice and wears so well for such busy people who work with our hands. I still gaze at my engagement ring all the time and could not be any more delighted with the service, the design (I'm a designer myself, so incredibly difficult to please!) and the amazing range of stones on offer. Looking forward to getting that glorious blue green tourmaline I still have made into an eternity ring one day!
