Following our successful trips of Taga and Two Wheeled biking over the August Holidays, we have decided to do a ride without Car Backup AARRGGGHHH!!
127 Miles from Liverpool to Leeds, train back to pick up car at the end.
so the route would be along the Liverpool and Leeds Canal with the following stop overs.
... Liverpool = 21st Oct Wigan = 22nd Oct Burnley = 23rd Oct Skipton = 24th Oct Leeds = 25th Oct
Gwilym will be 4 months, Harriet will be nearly 3 and half, approx. 30ish miles a day. Staying overnight at Travelodges and Premier Inns.
Hints and Tips required, of nice tea rooms, picnic stops, kids entertainment. All very welcome

North Devon Adventures on our Taga Bike.

Our 2nd Adventure in August was around North Devon.
Our annual holiday with my side of the family, all fifteen of us. Only the Dunns are keen cyclists so our adventures include a ride to Ilfracombe, Woolacombe (boy that was hilly), and Barnstaple.
Love cycling along the coast the sea air is amazing, and I love the interaction with kids.

So August was a busy one on the Taga Bikes for the Dunn Family.
Our first trip was without Daddy Dunn, and myself with 2 kids, and my friend with her two kids decided to do the Crab & Winkle Trail from Canterbury to Whitstable UK, this was a round trip of 22 miles.
Abi was on a Taga 1.0 with a 3 yr old Zack, no E-Assist, Beau her 6 yr old managed to complete the whole ride on his isla bike.
... I just about managed it on the Taga 2.0 E-Bike with 10 week old Gwilym and of course 3yr old Harriet.

Great ride today with the Harriet & Gwilym, unfortunately Andrew (daddy) was working but we met up for a much needed meal after the 25 mile ride.
So we were all loaded up in the car for the drive to London by 9:30, arriving in Victoria 10:30 kids asleep which allowed me time to set up the Taga with no screams of pressure from the kids.
We did a full lap in one go and on the 2nd lap we stopped off at the various hubs, Aldwych for snacks and nappy change, St. Pauls for a little... mooch around, and many others.
There were loads of different Cargo Bikes, but alas I didn't see another Taga Bike. Harriet enjoyed the attention as she was dressed as Tinkerbell and Gwilym slept most of the way round and still managed to get a few Ahhhs.
