Harrogate Chess Club

Harrogate Chess Club was founded in 1884, making it one of the UK's longest established clubs. We run three teams in the Yorkshire League as well as many internal events. New members are always welcome.

As well as Harrogate Chess Club itself we also keen to engage local chess players in the Harrogate Evening Chess League or in one of our internet chess teams. There is also a local Primary Schools Association - details of all of these can be provided on request.
