We loved our meal today we haven't been to blackpool for 2 years or so... so the new look takeaway side was new for us, what a good addition it is tho, nice place to sit and eat with out having to go to the restaurant... or try and take on the thug gulls! ’┐Į , Our food was made fresh for us and was lovely and lots of it! ... The staff were lovely too, really happy to help! ... well done Harry Ramsden's we wont leave it so long now to visit again! X

Visited yesterday. Lovely place inside and fabulous fish and chips. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. No grease. The staff were fabulous excellent service. Highly recommend.

It was a great experience and a fantastic meal, the staff were very helpful and welcoming and to be honest I felt like it was a shared experience where all involved where left with smile on their face. Much respect to Jordan and the dept manager for making this such a great experience and thanks to the chiefs for a fantastic meal!

I was so impressed with the way I was accommodated... I was given the option of childŌĆÖs portion (canŌĆÖt eat much because of my gastric bypass surgery) but I really fancied fish and chips... and they put me in a booth to myself when I asked to sit somewhere quiet!!! The staff couldnŌĆÖt have been more helpful or friendly. They didnŌĆÖt ask for praise but everyone who had a part in serving me was exceptional. And the food was beautiful too... enhanced by very good customer service. Well done.. IŌĆÖll be back ­¤śŖ

I have not been into this restaurant in Blackpool for years. I couldnŌĆÖt believe how modern and different the place is, was very impressed. Food was lovely, staff were very polite and helpful. There was a 30 minute wait but very understandable Saturday afternoon and made fresh to order. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Had traditional fish and chips here this evening... horrible wet night so it was nice to come inside and be greeted warmly by the staff and made to feel welcome. The service was great and the food equally good. Really good pot of tea too!

The fish here is really nice, not so keen on the chips, but overall the food is nice. The thing that lets you down is the toilets, as soon as you walk downstairs the smell hits you, in one loo there was ’┐Į all over the seat, and another full of paper everywhere. These toilets need to be cleaned on a regular basis. After having my tea here and then having to endure a smell like that made me wana puke ’┐Į

I went with my family and friends to celebrate my birthday tonight. We made a provisional booking online for 12 people. When we arrived there was no record of this booking in any of the diaries, however they quickly put tables together and accommodated us, there were 10 of us in the end, and we were sat promptly.



The place is decorated brilliantly, I love the nautical ropes that make up the ceiling and the barriers around the seating area. Harry Ramsdens is clean and fab looking.



The food was good, I had the salt and pepper squid, which was amazing, the aioli duo was fantastic. For main I had the cod burger, which was beautiful. The fish is great, out of everyone who had a fish dish, the consensus was it was delicious.



The staff are friendly and punctual, they never left us too long, and we never felt like they were a nuisance. Our waitress was brilliant, conscientious, and polite. She did a good job making us feel welcome and provided excellent service.



My only criticism besides the lost booking was that Some menu items were missing, I couldnŌĆÖt have the dessert I chose (doughnut sandwich) as they had no doughnuts, but was not told this till after I ordered, to be fair to our waitress, she did not know this either. I decided against a different dessert, which makes for a sad birthday haha. My friend had the brownie and she said it was delicious. My only other complaint was that some peopleŌĆÖs chips were cold, but we decided not to complain about that, so thatŌĆÖs our problem not the restaurant.



Overall we had a lovely evening, the cocktails were boozy and tasty, the venue really nice inside, the service excellent. Would definitely recommend!

We visited on Saturday 13th for the first time. Lovely waitress but after she took our order it just went wrong ! Waited 15 minutes for 2 teas and 2 fantas only to be brought a tray full of beers. Sent them away and waited a further 10 minutes only to be brought a jug of water and 4 glasses. Again not ours. Finally the food arrived. Still no drinks at this time. Eventually drinks arrived correct. Hoorah !!! Then desserts. 3 ice creams and a bread and butter pudding with custard please. Along comes the waitress ŌĆ£jelly and ice cream ?ŌĆØ Not on this table thanks !!! Apparently it wasnŌĆÖt over busy so I dread to think how it operates when it i!!!

Today was my fifth visit to this establishment, Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly service from the front of house staff. The fish and chips were lovely, but after each visit I am left with a bad taste in my mouth. The cause of this I hear you ask? On every visit to this establishment I am left deprived of the much talked about PEA FRITTER.

I have often dreamed about how the fritters tasted? Would I enjoy the texture? But time after time I leave feeling deprived.

You have my word I will be back next month, I expect this serious matter will have been resolved.

We had a nice meal, but the staff haven't a clue what they are doing and there was 6 of us eating, and 2 meals came out and then we waiting ages for the next 4!!!!!! The lady who i presume was a manager on the night was so so rude, Was not happen with her attitude!!!!!!

We went today 23 June for lunch. We had to wait over 40 mins until our food came and when it did we had to remember the waitress we had order other stuff. Food was good, however very expensive for what you got. Asked young waitress for the bill who replied ŌĆśwhatŌĆÖ and then we never got it. Asked again. Staff were very impolite and rude and service was crap. Would not recommend.

Was terrible waited an age for them to take are order and around 45 minutes no food so we cancelled it my mum was with us who is disabled ’┐Į and was hard work keeping her occupied in the best of times thanks for wasting an hour of my life will never go there again.

Waited an hour for food, when we asked how long our food was going to be, we were told there were no more burgers and pies. Extremely disappointed and bloody hungry!

So disappointed, not with the food as didnŌĆÖt get the chance to try it. Asked where the disabled toilet facilities were and was told they were out of order but I could use the ŌĆ£normalŌĆØ facilities that were just down one flight of stairs. Fabulous when you use a wheelchair. Duh!!! Went to The Sea restaurant instead.

Possibly the worst dining experience of our lives. Arrived and were seated within minutes and our order was taken. The waiter (Jordan) came to us to say what IŌĆÖd ordered wasnŌĆÖt available. I then asked for a beef pie again about 10 minutes later we were told the pies myself and my mother in law wanted wasnŌĆÖt available. So myself and my mother in law asked for regular fish and chips. We waited and waited, numerous tables whoŌĆÖd seated after us had their food well before we received ours. Jordan was a credit but the wait for mediocre barely warm food wasnŌĆÖt worth it. My two year old child ordered sausage and chips, he ate one sausage, my husband ate the other. WeŌĆÖd ordered about 2pm, by 4am the following morning my husband was projectile vomiting with abdominal pain. My son awoke 8am the following morning with uncontrollable diarrhoea and has persisted vomited since. The sausage from this restaurant was the only thing they both ate. IŌĆÖve called the restaurant this morning to lodge a complaint and I was supposed to receive an email over 2.5 hours ago for me to put it into writing. Still awaiting the email. Disappointed at the disgusting way this has been dealt with. Thank you for ruining a two year old little boys holiday. We will be pursuing the matter further.
