Harry Ramsden'S Great Yarmouth

We are on Holiday this week, and yesterday which was Tuesday we went for Fish and Chips, it was Gorgeous, beat Fish and Chips I have tasted, will be visiting again.

The food was great but the service was terrible, it took so long to order and get our food. I also watched 2 couples be seated who then walked out as for over 15 minutes they sat there and no one came to give menus or take drinks orders. Such a shame as like i say the food was great.

Food was nice but restaurant shabby, smelly toilets and terrible service. I've noticed cutbacks at HR nationwide, corner cutting and employing hopeless staff loses customers.

We thought we would try Harry Ramsden's as we are down in Yarmouth a few times a year and looking for some were new to eat. We was shown to our seats straight away and then left to decide what we wanted. Took 25mins for them to come over to take our order. The place started filling up but the staff seemed on a slow go and was in no rush to the seat people. 2 sets of customers were seated 15 mins after us yet there for arrived before ours. We waited further 10 mins (35mins in total) to finally get our food. I had the fish cakes and "creamy" mash. Mash was far from creamy more dry out the packet mash. The food for what it was priced was shocking. My other half order the BBQ stack...it came with no BBQ. Onion rings tasted fishy as if cooked with the fish. We then asked for the bill to then wait for 15mins for that. In the end we got up to find someone to pay for our meal.



Won't be eating here again. What they charge for the quality of food is terrible
