Hartlepool Art Club

Hartlepool Art Club is a meeting place for artists of all abilities and in any media. We offer a wide variety of activities including talks, demonstrations and workshops by practising professional artists and lecturers.

Hartlepool Art Club meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at Hartlepool Art Gallery, Church Square Hartlepool. There's always a friendly welcome, whether you join us as a keen beginner, an experienced painter or share a passion for art. Why not come along to our monthly meeting and see just what our club has to offer. Membership is currently at around 100 members and we offer opportunities to exhibit at various venues throughout the year. Our Annual Exhibition takes place in Hartlepool Art Gallery during the Christmas season and is a much anticipated and outstanding exhibition giving each of our members a chance to showcase their work.
Complimenting our adult membership we are particularly keen to encourage young artists via our magnificent, thriving 'Dabble in Art' programme. The popular children's sessions are run every two weeks on Saturday morning between 10am - 12pm in the inspiring location of Hartlepool Art Gallery. Dabble aims to encourage and teach children aged 5 -16 yrs ( accompanied by Parent's and Carers) in a fun and accessible environment.
