Went here last night with 14 other family members for my daughters Birthday. As soon as we walked through the door we were made to feel very welcome with the friendly staff. Food was fab and everyone enjoyed their meals, will definitely be returning.

Went for Breakfast with Santa this morning. Staff were amazing and the whole thing was brilliantly organised and was excellent value for money compared to others we have done. The Santa was excellent too! Thank you !

Well what can I say we've just come home from an excellent night. Family bingo and some fabulous food, the staff are lovely and service was brilliant will be goin to the next one for sure

Turned up with a big group of people and all staff friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic especially the Bird Surf Turf plate. A big thank you to Emma who was brilliant, she sorted our tables and ensured we were well looked after and had everything we needed.

The food is lovely, the service is great, me and the family always go here for the best breakfast and when we had mentioned my birthday (with no intention or thought of any bonus) they had brought out a surprise pancake with strawberries and chocolate sauce and it was amazing, they even sang happy birthday too.

Sauces are absolutely gorgeous very warm welcome and the food was lovely definitely coming again.

Nice and clean, staff extremely helpful and friendly, food well presented and very tasty. Drinks from the soft drinks area had a choice of flavours to add. Would definitely return

Me and the husband went to the salt cellar middlewich today and loved our food we will definitely be returning. Salad bar is brilliant �

Me and 2 others stopped off for a bite to eat this evening and everything was faultless, the lovely Beth was consistent and very attentive. Overall very impressed with the food quality and service, will definitely will be returning!

Just had a lovely meal with Hubby & the 2 kids, food was really nice, desert even came with a candle for my son as it was his birthday today (thanks to our waitress Emma). Service was cheerful & helpful, couldn't fault them. Thank you, will definitely be back. Now for a play at Fuzzy Eds. �

If you want an amazing, good value family night out this is the place to go. We took our 4 and 7 year old along to the ABBA tribute night and the place was packed and buzzing. Food and service was excellent value for money and we can't wait to return at the end of March for the Elvis tribute. Thank you Salt Cellar

Have just returned from a lovely family meal. The main course meals were lovely-there was a choice of 2 vegan options and I had the tagine which was full of flavour. The desserts were also great, the vegan rice pudding was delicious. The atmosphere was good and the staff were all polite and pleasant, but special thanks to Emma who paid great attention to detail and was particularly lovely. I said to my children on the way home that if they ever go into the service industry then that is the standard they should aim for!! She definitely deserves an extra serving of chocolate fudge cake :-)

Harvester salt cellar is a very friendly pub with the amazing staff such as Beth, Amelia, Chloe and Kay, they all make me feel so welcome and the chefs are great with amazing food! They are very talkative and inviting and it's a great atmosphere, can't rate this place enough!!! 100% recommend, definitely try this place!!

Celebrated my niece's birthday with you on the 13th July its a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a very modern feel and the service was brilliant the staff went over and above, the food i must say was gorgeous it was hot and very tasty & very well presented and the dessert menu is fab the fudge cake is the best so far and my son is the best judge for that � Thank you to all the team for a great experience and will definitely be returning �

Always have a lovely meal here, we love the Breakfasts. Great selection of food on all menus and friendly staff that give our children lots of attention and are super helpful and friendly. Thankyou Amelia and Emma for a lovely service this morning.

Staff were lovely. I can't remember the name of Our waitress but she was lovely and genuine so please thank her. (Young 18/20, with dyed silverish long hair) Nothing was too much trouble and soooo nice to our children.

Soon as we enterd waiter came 2 take us 2 our table as we got thier half hr early. Another waiter came over straight away 2 take drink order gave us a menu.The service was very good will deffinetly go again was lovely night with freinds. Thankyou.x

I went for my 50th birthday, the food wasn't bad and the service wasn't bad. But judging by the other reviews they seem to of bucked there ideas up. But then again it was Wednesday night.

I am in the Harvester in Middlewich which I always come to as I know they do a really nice vegan tomato spicy pasta. I’ve been told they don’t do this pasta anymore, I’ve told them to feed this back as I won’t be coming anymore, I come a lot with my vegan friends and don’t like the other (2) vegan options they have on the menu. What a shame.

First time we visited there Great boozer excellent food, the ultimate mixed grill was superb good atmosphere also and the staff really good 👍

Went yesterday for a meal the food was lovely however the bigger kids meals were really small toddler size portions also the ice cream sundae was more like a milk shake the ice cream was all melted .the play area was freezing even the assistant had her coat on

We had lunch yesterday chicken wraps & a child's meal fish fingers nice. Served a very hot custard sweet to a very young child. Was not told how very hot it was pulled it away before child got burnt.

Food was nice, lost 2 stars as we were waiting around for the bill (asked two people). Whilst waiting I let the kids play outside, someone actually cleared our table whilst we were waiting, nothing mentioned about the bill, In the end we went to the bar and paid.

The food wasn't bad but the service was appalling. I asked for a pint of lager to go with my starter/main course. The waitress came back and slammed the pint of lager on our table spilling it over the table because she was rushing. Then as we where eating our starter the same waitress came with our main course and again because she was rushing slammed our food down on the table. On the table itself there where no forks so we asked the waitress for a fork, she came back with the forks put them in a draw in a cabinet near us, we asked another waitress again for a fork to go with the meal and she said "hang on" and walked off. We eventually got a pair of forks from the waiter who was passing THIRD TIME OF ASKING! By this time food was cold. Would highly recommend to anyone not to go here if they are busy.

The food was ok, the place was dead didn’t receive our drinks for about 20mins after ordering them, the place was dead so no excuse really, food also took a long time to come and we had to find a waitress to ask for our bill �

The food is okay, but I agree that you can sometimes have to wait for your meal while you’re watching other parties seated after you getting their food before you. The salad bar always seems to be rather sparse, like a coach party of dieters just left after filling their boots with salady treats. But my main niggle is how the first you get to know of the extra charges on some of the menu alternatives that the waiting staff offer you when ordering, is when you get your bill.

Honesty goes a long way, folks.

Had some waiting for fruit and stuff cos they are not staffed enough. The food was good and the staff were all nice but they were a bit swamped with work so there was stuff missing, even cups.

this is not a reflection on the staff but the management who don't support that service time well enough.

Worst Harvester I have ever been to. Waited hour and half for food by this point we cancelled it at walkes out. Only my son got his food and I got my starters (which was meant to come out with the mains) next to no one in but kitchen was "backed up". Kitchen staff need retraining...or sacking. 2 other tables around us went through same too. Shocking

The slowest possible service. Brought the wrong dish off food about 3 times can’t even get food orders right. When the food came out it looked like it was just plonked on the plate and tasted so bland. Will not be eating here again.
