#MeetTheTeamMondays Jeane Ignacio. Jean has been at the Horse and Groom for 5 years! She has been in the industry for over 15 years and has filled a variety of different positions over that time. At the Harvester she is happiest when we have new menus to deliver to our guests. We love Jeane!

Was served by an excellent waitress called Tish, she could not do enough for you. Made the meal with my wife lovely.

Teresa our waitress was lovely and helpful and the food was good too thanks

Nice friendly staff, quick service and the food was really nice.

Great prices lovely breakfast and very good service from Teresa who was extremely polite and helpful

Ate there yesterday, was served by Trish. I must say she is very friendly and gave us a quick service. Food delicious, sadly no room for desserts this time. We have no complaints.

Alex our waiter was extreamly attentive, polite and helpful. The food was great, service quick and efficient and love the new decor.

The bar man Matt was also very pleasant and worked hard being the only member off staff behind the bar.

Lovely evening with the husband and little one. �

Read a few bad reviews here but thought would give it a go. Wife and I popped in for lunch. Service spot on. Food was great.

I booked Christmas dinner ...we were greeted very warmly & our meals were lovely. The staff were busy , but still made the effort to check on each table. Our waitress also went to get me a drink from the refill although I didn't ask or expect it. It was a very pleasent & relaxed meal & overall lovely time ..thank you & Merry christmas to you all

had the spit half chicken and it was dry! Rest was ok. Pudding they normally give u a gravy boat type thing and it’s full of custard and I got a small source pot one! The type of pot u get at mc ds to fill ur ketch up in! Lol When asked for more I got a dirty look and she walked off and didn’t even bring me more!

It was ok but I booked a table for 7 30pm and they didn't have my booking and also only 1 person taking orders where I was sitting very slow don't think I'd go back.

Food was nice but felt sorry for waitress as she seemed to be covering lots of tables on her own , which made things slower being delivered to tables, had to get our own cutlery from shelf for our salad as waitress so busy !!

Went there for dinner tonight, got seated nice lady served our drinks took our orders, so went to get salad 15 mins later came back to the table to tell me they don’t have what I ordered in stock??? So we cancelled my husbands order they didn’t ask us to pay for our drinks and we just left, such a shame communication isn’t a strong point there, for a 3.6 on there overall review think something needs to be done to bring it up to a 4.6, it’s a nice venue local to most and easy just needs shaking up alittle x

Went 29/3 with my family. Looks lovely but service was slow and the steak atrocious on both our meals - full of fat we couldn’t even cut it!. Had mixed grills thank goodness so other bits to eat. Was offered a replacement but refused because by the time they’d cook it , we’d have finished our meal. Got an apology from the waitress but that was it.

I went with family has to wate 20mins for knife and fork to eat out salads after asking 3times then had to ask 4times for class to get drinks from machine them had to wate a hour for our main meal then after we had to go find someone for the bill as we wanted to leve she gave us someone bill not ours so no didant give a tip and won't be going back there

Went last night the food was dreadful sent the steal back as it was all fat and the mushrooms was burnt to a cinder!

The staff looked miserable and waited ages after we asked for the server! Who grunted at us!

Albie stood at bar waiting to get served a drink and even though the bar staff was looking at him they failed to ask him what he wanted so he walked away!

My son's desert looked like it had been in a car crash on way to the table!

Bad serve and even worse food!

Service is non existent! Had to move our own starter plates off the table and go and get our own cutlery.

My steak was overdone and the chips under done.

Dads ribs tasted weird and after smelling them it’s fucking obvious they are rotten!!!

Not busy but waited nearly 1 hour for food then had raw egg! Dirty cups, overall just not good. Staff were nice though. Gone down since renovation

Just because the Horse and Groom has had a makeover don’t be fooled. The service is shocking and the food is overcooked. Waited at the bar to get a drink, 4 staff all standing about chatting, totally ignoring what is going on around them.

The chefs obviously need to be taught how to cook properly, the standard of food is shocking. Even the salad bar is a let down. Will not be returning there, waste of money �

Couldn't eat the food. Had no spit roast chicken and was very unhelpful on substitute for this. Sauce box was full with grease at the bottom. 2 steaks ordered, both well done. One still had pink the other was that well done, that it could have broken a window, don't worry, we did not try!

Asked for gammon to substitute the lack of spit roast chicken, only to be given a dry chicken breast instead. I drove from South yorkshire to London and this was my dinner upon arrival.

Safe to say, will not be returning.
