We had a wonderful meal at the Harvester Ancient Britain. Maybe they could show the chefs at the Harvester Three Horseshoes in Garston how to cook because the food there is appalling! !! I have had too many bad meals there and even though it's my local will NEVER go there again

My husband and i came in for dinner and the service we recieved was amazing !! We was served by a lady called Pam and she really looked after us and because of that we will definitely be back �

Chicken was so succulent, ribs full of flavour, my sons burger was delicious and he polished it off, very unusual for him! And to top it off wonderful desserts! Lovely evening all round!

Just returned from here ..ordered 7 meals which were all lovely. Steak cooked perfectly. Combo 83 was great. Unfortunately I lost my ribs to my grandson who discovered he loved them. Desserts were delicious but huge and beat 3 of us. A very enjoyable experience and we will be returning after a long absence and tonight's food. Very impressed as had lost faith in this restaurant.

Served straight away. Hostess was lovely, checking in that food was OK. Food was lovely. Can't fault it. You get what you pay for in a relaxed atmosphere. Will I go again? Of course I will!

Salad bar was always being topped up. Mind yoy can't believe the size of their rolls now, they are so small now. We were there at 12.00 and it was getting busy which is good to see. Our waitress was very nice and polite. Food portions were enormous and felt awful that I couldn't eat it all. Drink prices were rather steep but thats to be expected in these sort of places. Its local for my mum and we often use it. Jusr have to time it right so there's no waiting as we usually go there on the spur of the moment.

More expensive than it used to be but they have upped the quality of the food, too. My kids had the fish and chips which they said was great. I had the Cornish smoked ribs. They were fantastic! Salad bar was well stocked and the quality was good. Kids had deserts, too - portions were massive and my son's chocolate cake was great. We had not been in a while and we liked it even better than in the past! Friendly and efficient service, too - contrary to some other comments here.

Attentive but not overbearing staff . A reasonable wait for our meals , clean well stocked salad bar .

The steak on the mixed grill was a little tough but everything else was cooked well

Waited 30mins for our drinks to arrive. Why so slow and no reason given. Ordered the halloumi and pineapple starter and thought it was a very meagre portion of two little pieces of halloumi and pineapple on each stick. For mains we both had fillet steak which was excellent if a little over priced at £19.99 each. It was just ok, however we'll not be returning, as a half hour wait for 2 pints is unacceptable.

I had potato skins for starter, the waitress said it was hot....more like lukewarm!!! The plate was hotter than the food.

When our 83 combo turned up it was just about warm. The waitress was pleasant but we waited about 15 mins before she took our order. We've been twice but the one in the Galleria at Hatfield is better.

Ordered burgers and both were so overcooked you could break a window with them, and mine was missing part of the burger! So the very polite and attentive staff took them away..



They returned mine with the missing part of the burger, but had just continued to over cook the original burger instead of cooking a fresh one, they'd also put the fries under a heater to the point that they were cardboard and it had a side of coleslaw which also was now cooked and steaming hot... Nice! Not!



So we said don't worry about it we will pay for our starters (which weren't great) and leave. They left my wife's burger meal that never came back on the bill so we kindly asked for that he adjusted.



I can't knock the waiting staff in fact I feel for them. The food based on this experience is absolutely appauling.

Bad service we waited at least 30mins for our food & got my order completely wrong so asked for something else but a further 30 mins no food staff didn't even come over to apologise or to ask if anything they can do or offer so ended up walking out ! Terrible service wasn't even busy either!

Would have given zero stars if possible. Went for the vegan chili stuffed pepper option. It originally came out with cheese on and on the second attempt it was filled with a non vegan risotto. Absolutely appalling and staff very unhelpful.

We waited and waited and nobody Waited on us... food when it did arrive was just OK not very hot... there seemed to be one person working in the building...

Salad bar a bit messy food burnt apart from steak that was asked to be well done and came out still moooooing 🙈Drink had ice when asked without ice 🙈

Real disappointment to be honest

Ordered 2 hot chocolates...'hot' being the idea......luke warm, and almost a fiver for 2 of them. Tasted awful too!

Never again. Food was awful. I don't usually complain but this meal pushed us to do so.

Had to return my rump steak 3 times. Asked for medium got well done, raw and extra raw. After 30min I give up and ate raw steak. I will never go there again.
