We had a lovely meal at the harvester hornchurch. All staff were friendly and helpful and our waitress was lovely. We will definitely be going back

Me and my friend came yesterday for a well deserved catch up. The last time I went to the Harvester in Hornchurch at least 6 years ago and I must say it wasn’t the best experience the staff were rude & the food was, to put it bluntly, disgusting.

This time however it was amazing service & the food was absolutely delightful. Definitely worth a visit if you haven’t been for a while. 👌🏼

Great service & great food the staff are always plesant & polite & anthony tilbury makes you feel at home we travel from beckton to the compass as its the best harvester we eaten at keep up the great work

Had best waitress she was amazing. Me and my friend used to go to the Chadwell Heath Harvester and everytime it was a disappointment.



So we decided to come to this one. From the get go she was amazing, 100% customer service, smiley and very friendly. The steak was absolutely cooked to perfection. I really hope that Caroline gets to read this review and knows she makes a difference to people's days.

Was a nice Christmas day meal staff was nice. only thing is asked for parsnips waitresses said was not on the turkey menu but when we look it said it was and mince pies and coffee had to pay for think they need to watch what they put down as a bit misleading

Food was nice but took 40 mins to arrive. Request for discount for long wait was refused. But, I was happy they changed my order without charging me for it (the pork belly was tiny; got pork ribs instead). Some of the potatoes in the potato salad were a bit hard. The menu NEEDS more pictures.

Booked for 4.15 for 6 people for my daughters birthday it was very quiet took a while to be seated service was a bit slow all the time we was there food was nice but salad was not as good as it had been sitting there for a long period, when I booked I asked for balloons or anything on table or a sparkler in a desert as it's a birthday but did nothing so it was a bit disappointing not making it a bit special for my daughter so I won't be going back to celebrate a special occasion other places would off done something

This our usual harvest we use and it's normally really nice but yesterday it wasn't so good first of all their was no fish 🐟 then we was sitting their talk but I had not finish eating and the waitress come to collect our plates I told her I wasn't finished she did apologise but kept walking past looking at us and at one point was looking at her watch which made me feel very uncomfortable so I asked for a take away box to finish my meal at home and I see staff taking used butter from dirty plates and put them back in the bowl I can't understand that it's a waste of money and want to keep cost down but infection control cross contamination springs to mind

Not enough staff waited ages for table after we booked so we wouldn't have to wait as small child with us the meal was ok but waited ages for table to be cleared and take Desert order then waited ages for that

Food and service does not reflect the price, unfortunately. Not up to the standard of other branches I've visited.

Firstly the 2* was for the waitress she was friendly and nothing to much trouble for her. But the food was awful, we had a classic combo! The skimpy 4 ribs had clearly been deep fried so left them really dry, no meat on them, really skimping on portions size too. The chicken was just a chicken drum stick on the plate , I did bring this to the attention of the waitress who then came back with another chicken drumstick dumped on top of the original piece of chicken. Shame on harvester!!!! Will not be coming back......

After watching our food just sit under a heat lamp for 15 minutes i was shocked to see that one of our meals was mostly microwaved. Microwaved rice and veg is just what we wanted.....said know one ever!!!!. Even the prawns for another meal where microwaved. If we wanted microwave meals we would of gone to tescos and brought some. Plus our waitresse disappeared so thats why i food just sat there for 15 minutes. Oh and i know that the veg and rice where from a nice fresh microwave as i saw the manager (im guessing it was a manager) go to the heat lamp open the bags and empty the food on to a plate. Its ridiculous. Really not happy with the way the food was served to us. Oh and also i saw one of the cooks put chicken on my plate without wearing any gloves which i dont see as hygienic her hands could of been anywhere!!!!

Tried to book a table for 14 people or my childs birthday only to be told they don't cater for tables that size. When we have previously booked. Disappointed but obviously they don't need our business so looking to go eleswhere

I have been to this restaurant tonight 10.09.2017!

I have never been treated in such a bad way at a restaurant before

We went there for my sisters little girls birthday

All going fine till Desert

My mum had Eaton mess

My mum got to the bottom of the glass of eaton mess and found a piece of red meat

We brought it to the attention of the waitress and she said she would talk to the manager (Ant Tilbury) and would take it off the bill

After this my mum went to the toilet and was sick

Not Cos of the thing found in the the desert but at the thought of it not knowing where it had come from

I spoke to the manager and his assistant

Let me tell you I eat out a lot and have never been so patronised in my life like Ant Tilbury did tonight

I was told it could not have come from the kitchen

It must had put out in there by one of us or been on the table

On the table I said

Surly that was cleaned before I sat at it

He then agreed that he would take £80 off the bill which was £280

Let me assure you this is not about the money

But that's how this guy made us feel as if we was trying to get out of paying

I'll never use this restaurant chain again and I would advice not to go to this one

Really ruined the night

Top it all mum still feel sick thinking about it piece of meat that no one can tell us how it got there

may I just say the waitress was great did a great job nothing was to much for her

Shame about the management
