Harvey Leonard'S Wine & Ale Tasters Glossop

On Tuesday the 30th of October We will be hosting a Collaborative Tap Takeover Night with Thornbridge Brewery & FourPure Brew Co. Showcasing 3 beers each including their new collaboration beers. It will be a great night to meet 2 of the countries most best known craft breweries. This is a ticket only event, however all 6 of the beers will be available to drink from the bar.

White Port and Tonic with Lemon and Mint now available at the bar. Plus great wines and beers on tap, in bottles and all available to drink in or take away for a night in.

Oktoberfest is back again! And to celebrate we have beers from Paulaner, Spaten, Hofbrau, Lowenbrau and Augustiner on tap and in bottles. But that's not all, we have German Beer boards with amazing German Cheese from Lymefield Garden Centre, Pretzel Buns made just for us from Grains Bakehouse. As well as Lymefields Bratwurst with sauerkraut and currywurst sauce to go with a pint of the great beers we have on draft.

They're back! All Grow Breads playing live tomorrow from 3pm at Harvey Leonard's. All of the hits, all of the time! See them before they play Wembley Stadium (one day...maybe?)

We had a fantastic night last night, wonderful food by Hyssop and wines supplied by Harvey Leonard’s, an excellent night well done all.

Totally love this place. The biggest problem for me is I can’t visit as often as I’d like! It’s a place I always want to take visitors, friends and family.

The place to be for quality... and you can’t put a price on that �

Thank heavens Harvey Leonard's don't do Carlsberg, not that I'd drink it anyway but this place is without doubt the best bar around!

If you want a samey bar with samey beers and samey wines, be happy.

If you want beautiful wines and beers then you will love this bar.

I really like this place. Lovely atmosphere and great staff. Very knowledgeable on their wines and beers. Food is nice but please bring back a cheese and meat platter so I don't have to choose one or the other - it's really annoying! Loved the little mixed platters you used to do at the old shop.

I could quite happily sit in here and while away a whole day. And it has been known to happen. My ooooooonly bugbear is removing the mackerel pate off the menu. See. Massive 1st world problems.

First time here last night, but certainly won't be our last. Loved the food and even more the selections of wines and beers. Pity it's not on our doorstep, but then again if it was, we probably wouldn't be able to afford the doorstep as we'd be spending far too much money on top up wine cards. Great place for a romantic night, a chat and a catch up or a family tapas type meal with an English twist.

Been drinking in and around Glossop for 30 years plus .. moved to Portugal 13 years ago ( the home of great wine ) .. this place is an absolute gem of a place.. the style, the concept the knowledge is absolutely uncomparable to anything around the North of England .. if your near make it your way to call in for a cheese board and 20 quid on the wine dispenser .. you'll not be disappointed

Absolutely love this place! Such a little gem. The staff and owners are lovely and nothing is ever too much trouble!

A fine selection of craft. I have successfully got shitfaced in this establishment many times. Bar staff are a great bunch of lads also.

Really enjoyed my afternoon at HL. Band good beer choice brilliant and the best pork pies I have tasted for ages. A relaxed place with plenty to keep your interest.

It's such a fabulous place the only downside I think the food menu should be changed or a bit more variety on the existing one 10/10 otherwise :)

A great evening until we wanted to buy our wine at the end of the night...we planned to buy 8 bottles one being £32..paid for by one person...this was refused despite the £10 voucher which they offered back for each 6 bottles being bought being used for our next visi...because they were to share...this would have been used towards our next visit . Plus we bought wine on top. Instead 4 cheap bottles bought and negative feedback given...Great customer service. Well done.

Went out for a few Thursday night drinks, landlord didn't like the fact we had character ("you're being a bit loud for a Thursday")



Didn't like being challenged on it either. Told the bar staff not to serve me. Fragile egos are my favourite.
