But what we’re really excited about is that on Monday we had a @harveywatersofteners water softener installed and it’s awesome. This is definitely not an ad (no one gives me anything for free 😉) but it really is so cool. Since moving to Brighton we’ve noticed the differ...ence hard water makes, not least with limescale on everything and needing hard core things to shift it. The worst parts are really dry itchy skin, frizzy broken hair and my husbands eczema has been so much worse. We’ve noticed the difference immediately. I used a lot less moisturiser this morning, I only have to put a tiny amount of washing up liquid on the sponge to wash up and our hands aren’t dry after washing them, they feel like there’s soap still on them which takes a bit of getting used to but apparently it’s just the natural oils still on your hands. And it’ll take about a year but it’ll remove the limescale build up in our pipes as well and apparently keep appliances running for longer. It wasn’t cheap but we love it.
