Yet another lovely meal here....one of our favourite places to have dinner out...great atmosphere, great choice of drinks, fabulous food but most of all fantastic, friendly and attentive staff....would eat her every night (if I could afford too �)

We live pretty near but last evening was the first chance we had to visit, along with a couple of our friends to celebrate my Birthday. Our first impressions on entering was the warm comfortable atmosphere, the decor of the place is modern but also giving a slight "industrial" feeling to the place.

We were immediately greeted by a member of staff and shown to a table.

Menus were brought and a drinks order taken.

A couple of us ordered the chicken kebab with sweet chilli sauce, roasted vegetables and chips in their skins, my hubby ordered the calzone pizza .

My friends hubby ordered the Tapas, he said it was the best he had tasted.

All our food arrived quickly, looking and smelling lovely and our portions were very generous.

Hubby & I swapped a couple of mouthfuls of each. We all enjoyed it.

When it came to the desserts it's a limited choice, but our experience was more than made up by the positive attentive waiter, he really could not do enough for us. Appearing happy, friendly, smiling throughout our visit. This may have been our first visit but it certainly won't be the last. Thankyou

Was pleasantly surprised with Harvey's. Had heard some good reviews and decided to come with my friend who lives in Huddersfield. The staff were lovely and attentive. The food was lovely and came very quickly, portion size was just right and very tasty. As it was Friday and busy we were asked if we would mind moving down stairs into the bar area. One member of staff had reserved us a table there as it was very busy. It was such a lovely night thank you, I will definitely come again.

Visited here last night the food was amazing we could tell it was fresh and home made. It was a nice atmosphere in the up stairs dining area . The staff were very welcoming and friendly .Will definitely be visiting again �

I visited Harvey's for lunch as part of a group of nine prior to attending a match at Huddersfield Town. I can give nothing but high praise for this venue and would highly recommend a visit.



All of the staff were friendly and accommodating when taking drinks and food orders and we were also welcomed by the owner who was interested as to how we found the venue and why we chose it having travelled up from London.



The menu is extensive and in my opinion has something for everybody and the food served was of a high standard. I myself went for the fishcakes as a starter and then had the hanging chicken kebab which was very, very good. The chicken was tender and the chorizo chips I ordered, which were a first, were also very nice.



Our waitress was happy to arrange some taxi's to get to the football ground which was appreciated and when we left we were thanked for our custom by the manager.

Had a lovely evening yesterday. The atmosphere was relaxed, the food was good, all the staff were very pleasant, and the styling and decor very much to my taste. G&Ts a bit expensive but hey ho can put up with that.

Gorgeous decor, lovely food, and brilliant staff. We went with a 3 year old and newborn and nothing was too much trouble and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful which meant a lot. Everything on the menu also sounded delicious, would definitely go back.

First time ever been we went for hubbys 50th there was 20+ of us and the whole experience from start to finish was excellent sun was out staff were superb emma made sure everyone was okay the food was superb couldn't fault it price was reasonsble for food, drinks were bit expensive but you get what you pay for would definatly be going again...

First time at Harvey's. Leisurely Saturday afternoon lunch with the girls. Food was gorgeous. Well presented. Not over priced. Staff very helpful. Manager made us feel like we had known each other always. Will be coming back again with the husband. He will love it. Even the door man couldn't do enough for us.

Beautiful venue, fantastic food, great service. Had the hot pizza, but had serious food envy over the GF's sharing platter...the belly pork and black pudding balls will be on my menu choice next time. Amazing, keep up the great work.

Our food arrived quickly and looked and smelled lovely. My lamb was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The portions were very generous also. Hubby & I swapped a couple of chunks of each others meat and the beef was beautiful too, lovely and tender. We both enjoyed it. The experience was made all the more positive from the attentive waiter we had who was called Joe. Happy, friendly & smiling and my initial questions to him before ordering about various dishes on the menu were answered immediately with knowledge of the restaurants fayre. This may have been our first visit but it certainly won't be the last. 5* from me!

2nd time I have been to Harvey’s, must say first time was drinks only, but been today and I would definitely recommend harvey’s food was fantastic and the service 10/10 the staff are really friendly and welcoming

We headed down after hearing rave reviews but left a little disappointed. The food was ok but could have been better. The batter on my calamari was soggy so I made my husband eat it, halloumi fries weren’t cooked enough so a bit cold and rubbery and pizza was a little undercooked! It was annoying because it could have been delicious. I was really looking forward to having a few cocktails but only had one as thought they were quite expensive for generic cocktails so had a couple of gins instead. When we received our bill we had almost £25 worth of stuff on that wasn’t ours! I think we’ve just been unlucky and come on an off day which is a shame because I really wanted to love it as it’s so close to us. We were told they’re working on a new cocktail menu so would maybe go back and try again once that’s in place.

Lovely pub but the food could have been better ordered pizza hardly any topping on and over cooked won't be going again the waitress needs to be more careful on what she is doing with card payments came rushing out to find us that the card had declined after about 10 mins we did not even notice she tryed again went threw not good customer service

Absolutely delicious food and staff were lovely but waiting 45 minutes for said lovely food and being plonked next to a burning fire with a young child and it being warm outside was disappointing. Restaurant was only half full so a 45 minute wait and having to ask where food was left us disappointed overall. Also £2.10 for a cup of boiling water and a teabag is overpriced...at least provide a teapot for that price!

We booked brunch for Father’s Day, service poor food cold , when told about service on paying the answer was we have been busy!! Don’t over book then.
