Recently purchased our new F Pace from Harwoods Jaguar Crawley. Great service and support throughout, special mention to Gary, Rebecca who were brilliant in helping us through the entire buying process.



Even incorporated a VIP visit at the Solihull Plant got to see my own car being built and kindly offered to let us sign the chassis on the production line. Cannot praise Jaguar as a car manufacturer highly enough. Second Jag I’ve owned and I do not envisage changing based upon the service received to date from Harwoods Crawley and Jaguar Land Rover.

Jaguar is a top British brand.

That said, it is rare these days to find customer service and salesmanship that match brand expectations.



However, the same cannot be said of the customer service and salesmanship levels my husband and I experienced at Harwoods in Croydon. It was exemplary.



We were met by Ben Hales who was both thorough and detailed in his approach to us as customers. We felt totally at ease with Ben and he was the reason why we purchased the car at Harwoods Croydon. We could not have felt more satisfied with how Ben dealt with our enquiry. Ben - you are very professional and a real credit to your sales profession.



Upon purchasing the car, you'd think the service level would not be quite the same, after all a sale had been made. Wrong - Ben kept me informed at every stage of the process until we finally received the car where his colleagues went above and beyond in making us feel proud to have purchased a Jaguar.



Equally, his colleague Richard Chandiram explained the functionality of my newly acquired F-Type sports car with such consideration, I came away fully understanding the controls, something I've not experienced in a car purchase before.

Awesome customer service matched with brand reputation. You feel being looked after, no matter whether you own a brand new jaguar or one under warranty or just an old one. They appreciate that you are busy so wouldn't call or hassle if there isn't any need. Just turned up and got my car on the day next.

Met a great sales person did not try to push us into buying that made a nice change and listened to what we wanted he had the time and patience to make sure we was happy with what we was getting, would buy from them again.

STOPPED buying LEXUS and spent 50,000 on a new F pace, a very nice car but sales force was a bit disapointing ie emails not returned ect. SHOWROOM is APPALLING needs to be really high end and swanky.



The car also needed a factory update, However the service center staff was let down by no loan cars which is very cheap scate - Luxury Car Brands just cannot do this. HOWEVER the day was saved by Becky Stuart and especially Sarah on the FRONT DESK quick thinking offers smoothed it all over WELL DONE!.

be sure to check your vehicle thoroughly before you leave and if your not sure about it, get independent advice. Great at selling vehicles but once they have your money they fail on the after-sales care. Not what i expected from such a prestigious company. Would not recommend after endangering my family even after their technician stated nothing wrong with damaged and dangerous tyre needed replacing after two weeks at my cost. Be warned

This dealership is the worst garage we have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, we purchased a vehicle in December which has broken down three times with the same fault, just picked it up to find scratches and dents down one side, both Harwood's and Landrover experience has been appallingly with no response or assistance, each time the vehicle has been collected the garage reports differ from the actual problem. The vehicle is unfit for purpose and I have zero faith any resolution.

Picked up my car in April.

It had a dent in it. Thank goodness my wife noticed.

Lots of apologies and a promise to fix it.

Now July. One email from them (after I phoned the manager to complain). I replied. Nothing since.

It's now July 7th.

Originally our car went in purely because the sat nav needed updating. I took the car in on Thursday and picked up on Friday afternoon. In the past they usually bring the car to the front of the store and give me the key however this time James told me to walk to the car park which is at the rear of the show room- my car was parked very close to the wall on the passengers side. Once I came I noticed the car had been hit on the front of the passengers side. I know I didn't bring it in like this and the reason the car was parked next to the wall when I went to pick it up was now evident.

I have called them three times and they answered on the third time. I was told there was no one to deal with it today so I have to wait until Monday. Considering my previous experiences with the garage I am assuming they won't call me on Monday.

Overall, I'm not happy with the service I have received and the fact that they tried to hide what they did to my car - be careful !

My partner and I test drove a used Jaguar XF Sportbrake today. The 'experience' was a catalogue of errors from start to finish:



1. A luke warm welcome, at best, by the salesman. By way of example, we were asked to move our Volvo as it was in the space for the F Type, even though when we arrived, none of the customer parking spaces were available.



2. There was no fuel in the car when we set off for our test drive to the extent that the engine spluttered to the garage. But better than that, on the way to the garage, the salesman floored it along the dual carriageway having just acknowledged that 'there was no fuel'. An interesting approach.



3. We noticed a number of scuffs and scratches on the bodywork and asked if they could be remedied. The salesman commented that this was possible but that the car had yet to be prepared. Surprising some may say in circumstances where the car was being marketed to sell.



4. Most concerning of all, the car was advertised with the incorrect mileage (both on the Jaguar website and the sales board on the car in the forecourt). It was advertised as just under 25k on the clock. It turns out it is actually just under 29k when we checked the odometer during the test drive. A 20% difference. Not insignificant some may say.



When challenged, the salesman joked, saying the difference couldn't be as a result of the number of test drives. Correct, the difference is as a result of your incompetence, and your desire it seems, to mislead customers.



5. And to finish our 'experience', we were told that there was absolutely no movement on the advertised price (£21,995) despite the fact that there was some 20% more mileage on the clock than advertised, body repair work was required, and the two front tyres needed to be replaced.



On that note, we left promptly, and as exisitng owners of a Jaguar and two Land Rovers, feel angry and upset.

It is the worse car dealers that I've ever used in my life, after 3 attempts to fit a small plastic trim on the front window Piller I still had to take it to another car repair shop to fit it, I tried on 4 accounts to book in my Range Rover for a full service and mot, so I would never use this dealer again, mr L Munt

I visited your showroom today, on Brighton road culesden with my children and I must say, the welcoming we received was far from shocking by an older white lady who was at the reception with some of her colleagues. Her attitude was one of a negative racial profiling without her knowing my background or my financial status. When I had asked about your brochures, she told me that your company no longer distributing these as everything has changed and brochures can only be seen online.

I thanked her and proceeded on looking at the range of cars that you had in the store. Meanwhile, a white couple had been seen to, by another consultant and were leaving with a brochure. I therefore approached that consultant and asked about the brochures again. He directed me to stand stocked with different kinds and asked which I was looking for. I explained my experience with the older lady to him and he apologised on her behalf. As I was leaving I once again approached this lady and let her know that I have allocated what the brochures and have been given one and thanked her for her service... I must say that she was far from happy to see me with them and asked me if I am "just going take them" in a very disrespectful manner. Obviously I did not just take them, I had asked for them and was given them, which I proudly told her.

The point I am trying to make here is that I felt a deep sense of racially inappropriately treated and it was so unfair for my children to experience this kind of treatment which impacted on the rest of their day.

As a lecturer, I train learners in how to use effective communication and the impact of ineffective communication on individuals' health and wellbeing.

This experience was a classic example of discrimination, wrongful racial profiling and how to make a person feel that they are lower than you based on the colour of the skin. I say this because she knew nothing of me apart of what she saw visually and not to mention, my children were very well behaved and respectful towards your environment as was I!

If I had thought on my feet right then, I would have recorded this to use as a case study of how not to behave when serving the public. #harwoodsjaguarcroyden #racialprofiling #discrimination #poorservice #allmoneyservesapurpose
