The Museum's new exhibition will be "Hastings Harbours - Past Present and Future" and is being officially opened at 12 noon by our Cllr. James Bacon as part of the Old Town Carnival Week celebrations. We look forward to seeing you there!

Totally enjoyed my visit today with the wife, it was my birthday so down to Hastings for plaice and chips mushy peas and took a look round the museum. A great place to visit and after a long chat with the guy in there left with total respect of what a hard life it is to be a fisherman. Brass plaques outside on the entrance wall of very young men lost at sea, brass plaques on the boat inside RX 278 and one outside RX 74 of their involvement in the evacuation of Dunkirk. there is more to this museum than old fishing boats/ pictures/ fishing equipment it has history and totally enjoyed my birthday visiting it on a cold windy wet January.
