Hatfield Outdoor Activity Centre

So many happy memories here, also very reassuring if you are scared of heights or water.

Great water sports centre with it's own campsite, they also have dorm rooms, I would recommend anytime

Stay Away. we have been going here for years but never again!! The manager is always there to shout at you - you cant even breath without him being there to tell you off, even to the point where he wouldn't let my 10yo boy go to the toilet on his own. Now it is fires out at 10:30, no talking after 11, grown adults were told to go to bed at 11.30!!! we went for a good weekend away like we have previously had but this was totally ruined by him. Do not go if you are looking for a fun family weekend

Loved every minute. Nice size camping pitch. Local town within easy walking distance. The lake and facilities are good

Great family location with lots of water activities. Evening entertainment little to pricey with bingo being £5.

The campsite itself was really lovely and clean, the pitches were spacious and the staff were helpful, check in was fast and efficient and the site had a lovely family friendly atmosphere about it. This review would have been 5 stars if the showers and toilets were up to scratch. To be quite honest this is the only thing that would stop me going back. There was mould in the showers, they were dirty and not well kept at all, same for the toilets too. Its such a shame because this is such a lovely little site.

Easy to book. Very, very reasonably priced. Great walks & not too far to a choice of pubs 😊

Great water facilities

Love the site gone for years but site been taken over arrival member of staff was rude wouldn't let us pitch next to friends even though was empty whole time we were there and on site facilities are rank wouldn't let my dog go in there!!

I swim here as part of my triathlon training, so can't comment on the other watersports available, but very friendly with good facilities. Water is clean and not too deep, so gets warm in the summer.
