The pool is a grest size and you swim in the same depth.However as a keen swimmer it is very difficult to get a good quality swim.The pool is continually half closed due to life guard shortage and weekends there is no time as parties and fun time take priority.

Today's swim centre forecast: Cloudy... with a chance of showers working. What is with the pool water today?

My brother and I have been taking our children here for the past three months or so and several times the young children's pool hasn't been open for whet ever reason and it is very frustrating the only reason we keep going as it is convenient as I live in Staines and my brother lives in Barnet.

But next week I'll be phoning in advance and if the children's pool isn't open next week we will have to find an alternative place to take our children.....

I use the swimming pool regularly and have missed hooks on lockers (to hang clothes) and also not enough locking mechanisms work properly. I noticed how the changing area was recently refurbished and now looks cleaner. I was however confused as to how this refurbishment stopped and the lockers seem to have become much worse. With the refurbishment the hooks that were available near the showers are gone and were not replaced. How do you expect people to be able to keep their clothes out of the wet and often dirty floor and locker surfaces?

I have been a member of this gym for a few months now, had a two months contract and now that I have ended my direct debit as the contract is over, they are threatening me with debt collecting and putting penalties on each week if I don't authorise the direct debit again. They do not answer the phones at all, and when they do, they say only one person, someone called Natalie can deal with my case, who never calls me back. The only reason I ended the direct debit is that the gym is closed until January (why would I pay for a service that does not exist) and also wanted to sign a 6 months contract from mid January. After this I think I rather go to another gym. I am very disappointed the way I have been treated and this customer service is unacceptable. All of you, please watch out when you wish to end your contracts.

Changing rooms outdated been the same since I was at school and that was over 20 years ago. Needs a total update of the changing rooms and showers there is always something broken and now their always short staffed and baby pool isn't open. Also the baby pool is in serious need of updating paint is faded and many of the stuff in the pool is broken and not been fixed for over 2 years which is bad. It only gets 2 stars because of the staff who are really friendly.

Worst gym ever...its filthy...the changing rooms are vile, the staff are awful and don't have a clue (apart from 1 staff member, they are even trying to get rid of her)...wouldnt recommend to anyone

Worst Gym I have been a member of for so many reasons. Firstly Memberships fees, Management feels it is acceptable to over charge for memberships no interest in correcting there mistakes or looking after the current customers. I have been personally ripped off for over £300 with no interest from management to address the issue. It was hard to even get any response as when trying to make contact about my problems I was continuously passed on then told I would be called back numerous times and received no phone call or email.



If that wasn't enough to put you off we can go on to the cleanliness, the state of the spa facilities is disgusting changing rooms always filthy floor is always covered in brown water, When I was in there last week another customer was walking round with bits off tissue and wiping variously facilities (sauna steam room) to show staff how bad the cleanliness was the tissue was covered in dirt looked like the facilities hadn't been cleaned in weeks. As well as the issues with cleanliness you have problems with equipment the showers don't work properly. I've never been in there where they've managed to have both Jacuzzis working the steam room always smells very badly. in terms of the swimming facilities it was sold to me what a great big pool, diving board facilities however far from the truth I have never been able to use any lane but 1 all other lanes are booked out for classes. The diving boards I've had the privilege of using once in the last year as there never open.



I have absolutely no interest in staying a member of this gym however I have been told I cant cancel my contract without paying a large fee. I would think as finesse leisure cant run there gym to an acceptable level that they would release this contract as I don't feel they can or are capable for providing the service that they promised.



Do not make the same mistake as I did and be mislead and ripped of by this organisation.

Well after the renovation it was advertised as free swim this weekend. Thought great let's go. Got there (2 adults, 2 older children and a 2yr old). To be told all the pools were closed except the main pool, which had the big inflatable in. Bit annoying as toddler loves the baby pools, but we went in anyway. Got into the main pool and omg I was so freezing. Our toddler was frozen saying "out out". So I that's what we had to do. As it literally was just way too cold. We wasnt the only ones either, lots of mums with little ones were getting out too. I'm glad I didn't pay for that 5min dip in a freezing cold pool. It was just awful!!

We used to like the baby pool as it’s nice and warm compared to others, but we have tried to attend several times lately only to be told that it is shut - apparently due to a boiler fault. Please get it fixed!!!!

Very annoyed that the staff didn't tell us today when going in for fun swim that the inflatable wouldn't be up! The only reason we went to the pool was for the fun swim and we could've chosen a different swim centre had we been made aware! We were charged full price yet the children didn't stay in the pool the whole time as they were bored!!! The diving boards were also out of use!!

Turned up to swim on a Sunday with little 3 boys. Checked the website to make sure we had the right time and called (rang off x3). All good.

BUT NO, it’s members only today, with three jobsworths sitting there doing nothing in front of a window showing an empty pool.

Apparently there is no reception so they can’t take payment, so no-one can swim.

Absolute joke.

This morning...no sauna, no steam, no showers....one jacuzzi is the only thing working!

The swimming pool is disgusting!! You can see dirt floating in the driving area, my son has complained about it being freezing cold to

If only I could give it a zero rating! I visited yesterday to be told the fun swim was off due to lack of staff - yet again! In order to compensate a few floats & noodles were chucked in the pool for good measure & I was still charged the same amount! The changing rooms & floors were filthy the tiles around the pool are the same as are the scum lines in the pool plus the water was colder than usual. The staff/management also allowed some members of the public to swim in their underwear & at no time did anyone enforce the swimming rules. That is seriously unhygienic! The whole place is not ‘Better’ it’s horrendous! A lick of paint & change of signage is not going to make it ‘Better’ the place needs a serious overhaul & deep clean plus manager’s with gumption to enforce the rules of the pool that are clearly signposted for all to see. I feel ripped off paying to swim yesterday & feel you should of paid me to swim in such disgusting conditions. Sort it out, the whole place is a complete dump!

I went for a swim this morning (Weds 4 July) and was told it was lane swimming all day. However there was only one lane open for lane swimming, the other lanes on the deeper side of the pool were just standing there empty with closed signs on them with no explanation offered.The one lane open was seriously busy with people of all kinds of ability trying to jostle in together and avoid each other. It was difficult/nearly impossible to swim up and down. Very annoying when there was plenty of room in the other lanes which we were not allowed to use. This pool is not being well managed.

Discusting!!!! I let the council know -no action. I let the workers know -no action!!!! I PAY and i would like a clean and tidy places!!!!! Lockers are broken,Hairdryers dont work , Half of the swimming pool is always closed ,The pool is even closed when there is no schools/swim learning Everyone swims on two pools and everyone keeps on bumping into each others!!! IT IS DANGEROUS ! Is this going to change at all??�

Customer service is terrible, never trust the website for opening times, even when I phoned to ask times they still got it wrong - so had to wait for 40mins with two young children for it to re open! Staff don't care about how they talk to you, and they do not care about the state of the facility - changing rooms filthy. Such a shame as the baby pool is a fab pool for little ones. (When it's open!!!!!)

Now been told it closes a 3pm. so cant take the younger 1 in as he is only 1 year old and the baby pool is closed by the time we get there. Would rather travel to a pool that puts some effort into thier premesis
