Fantastic place. Room was clean and tidy. My kids really enjoyed the bunk beds. Breakfast was very tasty. Food was fresh. Reasonable prices. Would recommend!
Not terrible for a hostel. Beds are fine. Showers worked albeit a bit dirty.
Low rating because they lost my booking. Booked in March, by September it wasn't on the system at all which took about half an hour to sort out because their internet is terrible and only one PC works at a time. Staff were lovely though and gave me their last bed for the price I was originally quoted rather than the current price which was 30 quid more.
I would recommend if booking early that you double check your booking still exists before you arrive.
I thought the facilities were good, clean, modern, great layout and polite staff. However there wasn't an information pack provided, the shower and breakfast were average. Other guests were very noisy late Friday night / early Saturday morning. Great budget hostel

Good location, under 10 min walk to Lime Street Station. Stayed in a twin room and was very comfortable. Beds were clean and comfy plenty of pillows, towels and the bathroom with shower was big and again area was very clean. Didn't hear any noise either. Was a one night stop over after a late arrival flight but would definitely recommend and would stay there again. Breakfast was included in price with a good selection of cereal, breads, jam, cheese and ham.coffee and tea and juice. Fab wee last minute find at a great price.
I had a wonderful stay. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was good. The staff was also very friendly and helpful.
Hatters hostel seems to have such a great location in Liverpool. The building looks old but from pictures and other reviews, seems to be well taken care of with a caring staff. They have a 'Work with us" program that is easy to get in contact with, which I'm currently in the process of attempting to achieve! I cant wait to see this hostel and possibly work along side them. IF not, a bit of a stay will be much worth while!
Great old building with lots of history. Love the reception area where the welcome was warm and friendly. Great bar area too with a good buzzing atmosphere which was ideal for meeting friends and getting the drinks flowing. Only a few minutes from the city centre and a few minutes walk from the train station too. Would definitely visit again.
Got upgraded from 8-bed dorm to a twin room to myself, very happy with it. Location is good, short walk to the city center. Free continental breakfast included.
