Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre, the South West’s premiere Outdoor Education & Training facility.

Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre is a renowned non-residential outdoor adventure and education centre based on Exeter's historic Shipping Canal and River Exe. Utilising the natural surroundings of the centre for outdoor adventure and related education activities.

The Centre has one of its sailing, windsurfing and power-boat venues based at Starcross Yacht Club on the Exe Estuary. Being an area of outstanding natural beauty, the estuary is famous for its Special Protection and SSSI status. The Exe Estuary is also a site of international importance for wading birds, wildfowl and other wildlife.

Dartmoor, just a 30 minute drive away provides the ideal arena for land and water-based activities. Rock-climbing, caving and white-water kayaking and canoeing are just a few activities the centre offers within the National Park.

The South Devon Coastline provides fantastic rock-climbing, abseiling, sea kayaking & coasteering opportunities and don't forget the South West Coast Path!
