What an amazing 'find'!

Stumbled across this gem of a site, and since we got home yesterday, we've already recommended it to two other families! The site is the perfect size, not too big, not too small, impeccably clean, with fantastic facilities, and the couple who run it, are so helpful, (helping me when I nearly accidently super-glued my fingers together!)

Gorgeous cake and coffee whilst watching our girls play, perfect! We will return, thank you for making our stay so perfect x

User

Well what can I say about Haw Wood Farm apart from it was amazing. The whole site is clean and well maintained, the washroom facilities are top notch and always clean. My son and I stayed here whilst my wife and daughter stayed across the road for a wedding. We then spent the next 2 nights camping as a family and we couldnā€™t find a single bad thing about the place which has upset me a little as I do like to leave some negative comments but i am unable to do so. By far the best campsite we have pitched up on and all staff were amazing and friendly. Will be back

User

We have stayed here twice this year, the site is spacious, the facilities excellent and it has the best dog walking field we have ever found on a campsite, totally secure and safe. I love the focus on nature, there is a hide for children to watch wildlife, complete with wall charts. The welcome we have got both times has been nice and friendly, the owners are lovely people and nothing is too much trouble. Luckily for us it is close by so we look forward to more visits.

User

We have just returned from a great but wet weekend here with friends. The campsite is kept very clean and all the amenities are absolutely perfect. The toilets and showers are clean and the showers themselves are nice and spacious. The shop/cafe is well stocked and reasonably priced too. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning

User

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Haw Wood Farm. This is a brilliant site with super clean bathroom and shower facilities including family shower rooms. The size of the pitches are so generous and spacious and the park on site was a hit with my children (18 months & 5yrs).

Oh yes and the food we had cheesy chips on the day we arrived was great as no need to think what for tea on arrival day! We also enjoyed baked potato with cheese, beans & chorizo which was so delicious after a very very wet, damp weather all day!

We will definitely return again as it's perfect size site for us not too big and not too small! Thankyou & we look forward to returning :-)

User

We had a great stay at Haw Wood Farm, a really lovely site. The family bathrooms are the best Iā€™ve seen; the main washrooms are great too - more like wet rooms than shower cubicles. Thereā€™s a fab play park for children of all ages. The pitches are big and flat. We canā€™t wait to go back!

User

This is a great campsite! Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly, eco-friendly and with resident ducks! Clean well kept (and very spacious) pitches, absolutely fantastic shower and toilet facilities, enormous dog walking field and onsite cafe/shop which serves superb scampi and chips on Friday evenings (other options available). Highly recommend as it's one of the best sites we've stayed on and is in great distance of many local attractions.

User

Lovely place and great facilities. The Autumn curry night was brilliant and the curry was amazing. My kids loved this place that much they cried when we went home. Will definitely come back next year.

Just returned home from a wonderful 4 days camping in our bell tent at Haw Wood Farm, it is the best camp site We have ever stayed on. The welcome was lovely, our pitch was spacious and clean and green, I loved the way that tents and caravans were all near each other and although it was very well

Organised it didnā€™t fee like we we boxed into a refined area.

The play ground was wonderful and my kids absolutely loved it.

The toilets and showers were so clean and well kept and I loved the little extra details like the ā€œdid you knowā€ posters in the toilets.

The staff and owners went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy and looked after, even when wasps descended on the site, the owners reacted quickly and set up

Some traps to get rid of them, they were really effective and made our stay more enjoyable.

The location of the site was perfect for exploring the east coast and the little shop was brilliant, really loved the fact that they did some evening food such as cheesy chips and baked pots on certain nights and the scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast were Devine.

We will definitely be back again xx

User

Just arrived home from spending 3 nights over the bank holiday at this fantastic site. We were on HS1 which we picked ourselves online when booking. Dan showed us to the pitch on arrival,he was very informative and gave us a great welcome. The pitch was hard standing and huge, and too our amazement we virtually had our own piece of land/ garden to ourselves at the side of us. There is a great play area for the children, a massive fenced off dog walking area which my dog Oscar loved. The toilets were immaculate and the washing area for your crockery was clean and tidy with very hot water. The shop/ reception/ cafe has most things you require. They cook breakfast of a morning at a good price and fish and chips on a Friday. This site I would give 10/10 thank you Haw wood for a very beautiful and rememberable weekend. Oh and the weather was fantastic too. We will defiantly be back.

User

I visited this site many years ago when it was simply a field! Wow, wow, wow, this site has transformed into a fabulous site. Very friendly staff, great pitches, the facilities are the very best that I have ever experienced. The location is perfect for exploring Suffolk with many attractions on the doorstep. Congratulations. Five stars from me ļæ½

User

First time here and definitely not the last. We trekked down from Cheshire and every minute of the drive was worth it.

From the smooth, friendly and helpful check-in to the spotless toilets, great showers, well stocked shop and cafe, everything has been perfect. The staff who weā€™ve encountered have been the best in all of our experience of camping.

Faultless in every level. We will be back as soon as we can.

User

Fabulous place . Everything about the site is just lovely from the showers and toilets which are the best I have ever used on a campsite to the size of the pitches, and the herb garden ....and the site is spotlessly clean and well maintained. . We will definitely return as so much more to explore in the area. Thank you haw wood farm. We had a wonderful time ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½

User

Beautiful site. Large pitches such that even when the site is quite full, it does not feel so. There is a small shop and cafe on site and the staff are very friendly.

Shower and toilet facilities are superb. Very clean and modern with underfloor heating too.

It is a family friendly site with high quality plays facilities which include a zip wire ride and climbing area. It is adjacent to the cafe and patio area so parent can relax while their children play.

The site is designated a dark sky site so any interested in the night sky are in for a real treat.

Nearby is a small Co-op shop and a larger supermarket is around 4 Mikes away.

Fantastic sitešŸ˜Š

User

An absolutely delightful campsite with the most friendly hosts. We have camped at Haw Wood Farm 4 times now with our 3 children and each time enjoy every minute. The facilities cannot be beaten, so clean and well taken care of, and the pitch sizes are a treat! Myself and my husband treated ourselves to their afternoon tea back in May and it was the best one I have ever had. We shall be returning here for many years to come!

User

Amazing weekend!

A great reception from the staff who took the time to explain every detail of the campsite.

Awesome, well priced cafe & shop.....great bacon sarnie!

Loved the fire pit that was providedļæ½

The pitches are huge!

It's clear to see why the toilets and showers got an award!! Unlimited hot water, immaculately clean & great family bathrooms!

Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!

User

Love this site - itā€™s our third visit now. The kids love the park, the cafe is excellent, the relaxed atmosphere, the location - all fab. Only really small gripe is the three second shower - realise saving water is a priority but would be nice to have at least 10 seconds!!

User

This was the first time we had visited this site, first impressions very good, lovely friendly greeting and personally shown to our pitch by the manageress, we had not made a group booking but knew other families through other friends,

The toilet and shower block very nice, modern, clean and heated.

The electric kept tripping at peak times (morning and evenings) which became a bit of a pain, phoned to speaking to someone on the Sunday afternoon to ask for some help but could only leave a recorded message - NO ONE Followed up our message or replied !!

On the Friday evening it was fish n chip night ! So everyone decided to have fish n chips, as it worked out there was 11 children and 12 adults so we asked about ordering as the kitchen can only cope with 6 meals at a time, the male manager wasn't too happy about us placing an order of this size and loudly commented that maybe we should go to the local chippy which came across as very rude - I would say if your considering the fish n chips then don't bother as it's very poor value for money, frozen chips and frozen processed cod portion (similar to "youngs" that you buy in Tesco for a pack of 4 for approx Ā£3.50 !!)For the price of Ā£5.95

I don't consider anyone that we knew over this weekend to of made any type of antisocial noise, we ourselves were in bed by 9.00pm thurs and Friday, 10pm sat and Sunday and didn't hear any thing

However when setting up our BBQ and gazebo on the Saturday evening, the male manager came over with some bricks to lift up fire pit, which initially came across as helpful, he then proceeded to tell us that if he had any complaints about noise after 10pm then there is no way he could let us come back another time !!

It was directed at us and not anyone who had been having a Late drink with friends on other the evenings - THE ZERO tolerance on socialising after 10pm is very over the top, in my opinion very unreasonable and not necessary

If you are looking for a site where you can relax after the kids have gone to bed with a bottle of wine and to enjoy the company of friends then this is not the campsite for you

We are members of caravan and camping club and caravan and motorhome club and have enjoyed camping with a tent or caravan for the last 9 years - never once have we encountered such strict petty rules and rudeness concerning siting in a caravan awning and enjoying time and a drink with friends

Antisocial behaviour is not something with which we condone or participate.

We had a pleasant weekend, with some old friends and now new friends but Haw Wood Farm thank you but no thank you we will not be returning
