We are holding our annual Christmas Bingo this Monday 9th December at 7.30pm in the Market House upper room Hawkshead. Please come along as we have some fantastic prizes to be won.

Our society is looking for new members to help out in both horticulture and agriculture sections of our show. We need people who are willing to help on the day. If you are interested or know of anyone please contact the relevant secretary that can be found on our website.

Hawkshead agricultural society A.G.M. will be held this Wednesday 20th November at 7.30 pm at the market house Hawkshead, all committee members and the general public are invited to attend.

Don’t forget the Horticultural and Home Craft classes are still going ahead tomorrow at Hawkshead Church! Please can all exhibitors have exhibits in place by 10am ready for judging!! Pop along and have a look at everyone’s hard work!

**** Hawkshead Show 2019 - CANCELLED **** Unfortunately the difficult decision has been made to cancel this years Show! Heavy rain in the last couple of weeks has made the ground conditions extremely wet and with more rain forecast for the weekend our priority has to be the safety of getting exhibitors and the public on and off the field. However... the HORTICULTURAL AND HOME-CRAFT CLASSES WILL CONTINUE AS PLANNED, in Hawkshead Parish Church. All entries should be taken to the Church before 10am. And the exhibits will be open for public viewing once judging has finished from 12/12.30. Please come along and support the hard work of our exhibitors. We thank everyone for their continued support of our show.

Entries for Eggs, flowers, cookery still really low anybody is welcome to Enter !!!
Children’s classes 9 years upto 16 years extremely low entries this year which is a real shame!! Handwriting, drawing, craft, photos lots to enter please contact me for a schedule and entry form or check out our website closing date for all entries is the 4th of August
