Hawthorns Caravan Park - Static Caravan Sales

We have been at Hawthorns Park since 2010 and it is perfect. Excellent for just relaxing and enjoying the peace and tranquillity of the English Countryside while also close to the motorway network so you can have days out in the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & beyond. The park owners are a lovely family and are continually improving the park.

Hawthorns is a great place to relax and he park is really peaceful. Every time we leave, we can't wait to return!

I would advise anybody to contact me or talk to park residents.
The former office of fair trading now the CMA recommends having a contract between yourself and the park.
Hawthorns do not have contracts.
It was nice though to see Derick driving round the park in his Bentley or Monika in her Mercedes. Sometimes Derik would wake us all up early mornings taking out his vintage Morgan.
They did well to limit the rent increases to only 3,4 or 5% over the last few years.

I have kept a ststic caravan at Hawthorns Park for 2 1/2 years. I have found the owners and the staff to be extreemly helpful, courteous and friendly. The park is well maintained and managed. I have no worries for the safety of my van when I am not there.
The park is quiet and promotes a restful atmosphere which suits me perfectly as I use it to escape from the pressures of a very busy job.

Wonderful park!! Private and peaceful with excellently kept grounds. A perfect base to explore the Lake District from. My favourite part of the year is Spring when the daffodils and snowdrops appear!

For 28 years we have owned a holiday home on Hawthorns and enjoyed every minute.
Our parents loved to spend weekends with us and we are now on generation number four, our five-year-old Granddaughter. She adores having time at "her" caravan, rabbit, duckling & pheasant-spotting on site, visiting the many parks, playgrounds & castles in the area and collecting shells while walking our dog on the amazing beaches.
We never tire of the location and still try to make the most of each season, cramming in as many weekends as we can.

A tranquil site in a great location, ideally placed for visiting the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. This is our second year at Hawthorns, it's the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The site manager, Mark is positive and approachable. David, the gardener does an exceptional job at keeping the park in pristine condition. We feel we made an excellent choice with Hawthorns, a lovely family owned site which is safe, welcoming and friendly.

We are in our 7th year at Hawthorne's. We just love the peace & quiet, our little bit of heaven up 13 steps & private. We're only 40 mins from home. With the coast & 2 national parks not far away, its perfect for us.

Lovely picturesque & private

We have owned static caravans for a total of 16 years.The first 11 years were spent on a family friendly site in south lakeland, where our grand children could enjoy the facilities and make new friends. We enjoyed our time there immensely, but eventually it was time to move on
After a gap of a number of years, we decided to return to the area and look for a new holiday home, but this time we wanted a quiet relaxing site, now that the children have grown up. 5 years ago we found Hawthorns Park.
I would agree entirely with the first reviewers comments, a delightful park, beautifully maintained and the new development is spectacular. We also wanted a holiday home in a country park, not a car park.
The second review is most unfair and indicates that the owner should have taken more care in selecting the site most suited to their requirements. If all you want is 2 weeks holiday and the odd weekend, then Haven or Hoseasons comes to mind.
I don't know which part of the park they were on, but I suspect that the main benefactors to their decision to leave, were their neighbours.
