***** PRICE INCREASE ****
From Saturday 1st September our farm entrance price will increase from £2 to £3 per person under 2's are still free. We have not increased our prices for a number of years but unfortunately not everybody has the same outlook and have continued to put their prices up year on year! We now need to follow suit to enable us to keep the farm open over the winter.... I hope you will all agree that £3 is still a very affordable price compared to some other attractions and we hope all our valued customers will continue to support us. Many thanks Hayrack x

SPONSORS NEEDED - DO YOU HAVE A BUSINESS THAT COULD HELP?
Winter is a very hard time for the hayrack with reduced number of visitors. Staff still need to be paid and animals still need to be looked after and fed. So this year we are looking for business's that could help us keep the place open by sponsoring a pen for £50 for 6 months. For this you would get the following. - advertise your business on the chosen animal enclosure - your company details will be on a sponsors ...board in the cafe. - we will advertise your business each month on our facebook (you may want to send us special offers you have on that month) we have over 7,000 followers. PLUS you would be helping out a local business. We always try to give as much back to the community as we can, we receive no funding or grants to help us out but we still like to work with as many different groups as we can such as: adults with learning disabilities, cubs/scouts, work experience teenagers, schools, the elderly, underprivileged families and disabled groups. So any support you can give us would be hugely appreciated. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞🤞

What a lovely place. My 7 year old twin girls had a fantastic time especially Holly who adores pig's. The farm is small but it is lovely to get close to the animals, there is a wash area to wash hands after touching the animals by the play area. All animals looked healthy and although some of the enclosures were a little small they were clean and the animals looked happy. This is a lovely place to spend a few hours and for £2 entry it is great value for money.

Visited today, Three generations, we loved it...yes it’s small...yes it’s a bit higglety pigglety and little tired in places, but the atmosphere is lovely, there is a real feeling of care for the animals. We wandered round had lunch in the cafe (lovely and very reasonably priced) then wandered round again. The whole time we were there staff were cleaning and tending to the animals, You can see there are ongoing improvements happening but for £2 this is exceptionally good value for money and we will definitely return...Only one thing please. better signage in the car park for the entrance as it looks a bit like someone’s house x

User

Visited today and had the best few hours. Really enjoyed ourselves. Hidden little Gem We Arrived just in time for show and tell then went into the farm, Where you get to feed the Animals and get up close which is great.

We then had best sunday lunch in the cafe with homemade cakes to finish. Big Thank you to all the staff who really are lovely and friendly n special thank you to the lad who got some of the reptiles out for the kids thanks to Auntie jen .

£2 Entry is a bargain and really is a Fab little day out. Well done all will 100% be back for another visit soon xx

Visited back in April & unfortunately couldn't stay long.

Though the time we did stay, the children had a great time playing on the play area.

My son took ill & required emergency care.

The lady from Hayrack Church Farm called Sophie was absolutely amazing, calling for an ambulance, proving care for my son & looking after my daughter who was a little shook up from seeing her brother so poorly. Sophie provided us with a place to go so the paramedics could help my son & took my daughter for an ice-cream to distract her.

Honestly couldn't of asked for someone better to come to help at the scariest point of my life & even going as far to check on my son later that night.

so 5* rating for Sophie.

So yesterday our birthday girl was suprised with being a keeper for the day and was the first ever person to do it and she absolutely loved it. Jack couldn't do enough for her he was brilliant with her, she went away with so much knowledge about all the animals and she was such a natural at it everything she did, nothing scared her what can i say this girl was born to work with animals for sure. She did everything from getting all the ducklings outside, to mucking out the goats, to feeding a skunk to doing all the health checks on the reptiles. Grooming the donkeys, herding the sheep and lots more.. Too much to mention. She had a permanent smile on her face the whole time, She doesn't have a favourite bit as the whole experience was amazing. Best birthday ever she said. Thank you so much to Lisa for letting Kira be the first to experience such a magical day and Jack for doing such an amazing job looking after kira all day. We honestly can't fault anything the whole day was amazing you kept her busy and entertained the whole time she was there.

My little girl had her 5th birthday party here today and had a fabulous time! Thank you to the wonderful staff and the manager (sorry forgot her name even after I asked several times i still forgot ) they couldn't do enough to make sure we were catered for.

The guy who did the show and tell was brilliant his confidence rubbed off on all the children and they all got chance to interact with the animals! Really took the pressure off me knowing everyone was having fun see you all again soon! Thanks Georgie x

Currently working on the NCS 2018 team 23. Hayrack Church Farm have given the young people the opportunity to give back to their local community by volunteering their time during the Summer. The young people have dived straight in from feeding the animals to painting the fencing - all makes a difference. This has been extremely rewarding for the young people, a beautifully well ran happy farm. Thank you for having us!

User

Brilliant morning at the farm! Had a lovely walk round and play on the playground, painted our wooden item as part of the deal and fed lots of animals! Stayed for our lunch (adults got to upgrade to big brekkie and pay the difference). Had an issue with finding a nail stuck out the ground and the staff dealt with it amazingly! They were so apologetic and couldn't do enough, dealt with the issue straight away and couldn't fault them! Was lovely to talk to the staff about all the plans they have for the farm! Definitely be returning soon!

User

Don't know if it's just me I just didn't enjoy my visit! The animals all looked dirty and the pens too :/ (sorry to offend anyone)

We were there all of about 20mins if that. We came inside to have a look in the reptile room and the lady cleaning the reptiles actually got the snake out while my 10month old baby was in my partners arms

I wouldn't return in a hurry, The place just looks like it needs a little attention.
