An Experienced Service Technician is required to join a prestige dealership in Middlesex .
My client, one of the most successful retailer groups in the UK, are looking for an experienced Technician with the enthusiasm, drive and passion to join their large workshop team.
We are proud to have already placed technicians in this expanding team who have enhanced their skills and confidence to work in this fast paced workshop by attending manufacturer training courses.
The Role
To deliver a Quality Service to customer vehicles in line with manufacturer standards
Dealing with a variety of work from routine servicing and repair, replacing brakes, gearbox, clutch repairs and replacements to diagnostic tasks such as electronic and mechanical fault finding, electrics and all other duties associated with the role
Maintaining a high level of expertise, by attending training courses and reading technical bulletins to enhance knowledge and keep to up to date with technological advances
Advising workshop foreman of additional work required on a vehicle and seeking authority prior to rectifying faults
Ensuring professionalism and quality of service is maintained at all times when dealing with customers
Attending Test Drives with Customers to understand the fault and make a diagnosis as required
Who we are looking for
A Qualified City & Guilds Levels 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent NVQ Motor Vehicle Technician with a minimum of three years Post Apprenticeship experience in a car dealership environment
An enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who works well as part of a Team and would like to advance their career through manufacturer training and development
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and efficiently enhance productivity
The necessary skills and knowledge to ensure work is always completed to the highest standard as you consistently seek to achieve high customer satisfaction and repeat business
A Class IV MOT Licence would be an advantage, however is not essential
You must have your own set of Tools
What's on offer?
Basic Salary: Between £27,000 & £32,000 dependent upon level and experience
Bonus: Between £8,000 and £13,000
The Hours: 40 hours a week Monday to Friday & Saturdays' on a rota (1 in 4)
