Did you know...
That from the 6th April 2019, the HSE increased their Fee for Intervention from ВЈ129 per hour to ВЈ154 per hour?
... If the HSE were to find anything when visiting your site that requires action to be taken, this is the hourly rate you would be looking at. Or, as the HSE so eloquently put it:
вҖңUnder FFI, HSE will only recover the costs of its regulatory work from dutyholders that are found to be in material breach of health and safety law. A material breach is when, in the opinion of the HSE inspector, there is or has been a contravention of health and safety law that requires them to issue notice in writing of that opinion to the dutyholder.вҖқ
This is now more expensive than a basic, local site inspection with us, which would consider the same matters as a HSE inspector!
