CHILDREN IN NEED at Headstart on the hill! Today we will have lots of fun activities going on in aid of children in need today! We are raffling our spotty cake below, tickets are £1 and will be drawn at the end of the day along with individual cake sales in each room. Thank you for your continued support!

We love our location and views here at Headstart on the Hill ❤ we are very proud of our well kept gardens and mini allotment that our children help us to nurture.

Look at our newly developed area in the garden, we will develop this area throughout the year...this upcoming month it will become a pumpkin patch! 🎃🎃

Here is a peek into Blossoms newly formed cosy area! 🐠🐡🐙🐚

Throughout September Blossoms are looking at the beach... so far they have explored lots of different sensory activities such as creating their own pictures with sand, play with shells, painting with different sized beachballs. Today blossoms have made their own shell biscuits! Take a look at how yummy they are! And look out for us tomorrow as Blossoms are having their very own picnic on their beach they have created! ⛱⛱

This week we have been saying our final goodbye to some of our school leavers😢 We wish them all the best in their new adventures! Chestnuts are learning about different professions this term and are currently learning about estate agents in the roleplay area!

We would like to say a big Thank you to everyone who attended our Preschool leavers presentation. We have had a lovely afternoon full of laughter, smiles and tears. Good luck to all the children who will be leaving us to go to Big School in September we will miss you all. But for now lets continue to enjoy our time together and continue to watch you grow in to the amazing children you have become.

We have had a lovely afternoon at our Royal Wedding Street party! Thank you to parents for coming along! We even had a visit from the ice cream van! Hope you all have a lovely weekend! 🍦

We have an exciting opportunity... We have vacancies based within both of our nurseries. Here, at Headstart on the Hill and at our Upton nursery we have vacancies. We are keen to hear from you if you have: • A NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in child care; • A good understanding of the EYFS; • Excellent communication and people skills;... • Confidence and able to work on your own initiative. We were very lucky at Headstart on the Hill to have a visit from P.C.S.O Eva, who spoke to us about what she does in the community and let us try on lots of different uniform. Thank you for your time!

🌼🌻Here at headstart on the Hill we are leaping into spring! We enjoyed an easter egg hunt in our front garden last week, Chestnuts have explored their springtime sensory tray & planted sunflower seeds in the front garden. Blossoms have created lots of lovely craft using a selection of coloured paints. We look forward to continuing our learning throughout spring, we will keep you updated! 🌻🌼

Thank you to all the children for coming into nursery today dressed as their favourite book character and sharing some of their favourite stories. Today we have learnt lots about the country of Wales celebrating st David's day, the children have painted and drawn their own interpretation of the Welsh flag and our baby room crafted their own daffodils! At lunchtime there has been lots of conversation over a hearty lamb & leek stew! This afternoon after tea the children will enjoy the Gruffalo themed cupcakes whilst listening to the story read by one of our enthusiastic staff members! Along with making Welsh cakes! It's been a busy day on the hill! We will sleep well tonight!

Yesterday we had a visit from the creepy crawly show, the show was great fun and very informative for the children, we learnt lots of interesting facts about the different animals and had the opportunity to hold each of them along with lots of laughter! Thank you 🐾🐜🕸🐾🐍🐢🕸🕸🐜🕷< br>

This Nursery provides for all children,the environments are warm and inviting and all the staff are brilliant.

Really excellent, I highly recommend this nursery to any family...
