About Healthwatch Bucks

An independent organisation that gives YOU a chance to shape health and social care services in Bucks.

The page is monitored during normal working hours (Monday to Friday)

Healthwatch Bucks Description

Healthwatch Bucks is an independent organisation that gives you a voice.

We talk to the people that run your health and social care services, including hospitals, dentists, GPs and care homes. Using your feedback we create independent reports to help shape the design and delivery of health and social care services in Buckinghamshire. We also work with a range of volunteers on a variety of projects and are committed to transparency.

Our vision is that everyone who needs them experiences high quality health and care services in Buckinghamshire.

Our aims are to:

•Influence – Use people’s experiences and observations to improve health and care service design, commissioning and delivery.

•Hold to account – Provide feedback to service providers and commissioners on quality, standards and delivery based on people’s experiences and Enter and View investigations.

•Celebrate – Recognise and credit good practice, sharing what we find and using these examples to improve practice.

•Signpost – Respond to people’s enquiries about health & care services.

•Develop – Make Healthwatch Bucks effective and sustainable.
