HEART is climatised, positive and fun and since then I've learnt to appreciate art, music and literature more, have an open mind abo...ut current and social affairs, mix with great people and contribute to a project and centre which ultimately helps me to understand and contribute to a better way of living. VIVA ASIA: Celebrate Hong Kong film and food! Tonight (12th) HEART - Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre With the first of the Jackie Chan Police Story film series plus some delicious food - honey and ginger spring rolls, cashew chicken, veggie stir fry and sticky rice.
£10 ticket includes both film and food! we start at 6.30pm with food served in the Assembly Bar + Kitchen followed by introduction and film screening in Shire Oak hall (fine to bring food and drink into the ...hall).

Humans of HEART
Today's Humans of HEART are Lorna, Megan and Kate from our cafe team. Strong, energetic and beautiful only begins to describe these ladies. Last week you met Lorna, our new cafe supervisor who is shaking things up and upping our game. Today you meet Megan, our new Head Chef, who is doing a brilliant job here at HEART bringing a fresh new perspective. She is behind our new Sunday menu and she created a vegetarian/vegan/gluten free buffet that's having huge success with our events. Last, but not least, Kate has just joined us from Ireland and her smile is lighting up our days! Alone we can do so little: together we can do so much!

This Sunday will see the excitement of the AJ Bell World Triathalon come to Leeds! With roads closed through Headingley, we think it is a great day to walk or cycle to HEART! Our café will be serving our fabulous Sunday brunch menu and we are hosting another session of the Sunday Cycle Surgery from 11am-4pm. Have some brunch, fix your bike, pick up a few plants for the garden and experience the excitement of the triathalon as these world-class athletes move through Headingley!
