Thank you Berry Gardens Ltd, for supporting Heart of Kent Hospice in 2019 and raising a wonderful £6,065.25.
Berry Gardens discovered that fundraising, fruit and furniture can make a tremendous difference during their Charity of the Year partnership with us.
To help raise the incredible amount, groups of colleagues took part in the Hospice’s Moonlit Walk, Maidstone Road Run and Corporate Karting event. They also organised Christmas and Easter raffles which included selling ...knitted Easter chicks with delicious chocolate eggs inside, as well as making a regular fruit donation to the Hospice café.
Thank you Berry Gardens. It has been fantastic working in partnership with you.

The perfect valentines gift! ❤️
We are delighted to be working in partnership with the Changeling Theatre and Allington Castle again to bring A Midsummer Night’s Dream to Maidstone on 26 July 2020. We are offering two performances at 12:30pm and 5:30pm.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream lends itself perfectly to the wonderful open-air setting of Allington Castle. Gothic fantasy meets RuPaul‘s Drag Race meets Changeling’s signature cheekiness and you start to get a flavour of what’s i...n store. A funny, fantastical feast for the senses that will delight audiences of all ages.

A huge thank you to all the colleagues at TSB Maidstone for your wonderful support over the last two years. The team have worked really hard to make their customers’ Charity of the Year 2019 a success. TSB colleagues have used their creative flair to fundraise in a variety of ways for the Hospice from Halloween themed activities, book sale, pick a brolly from the beach, tennis pong, chocolate raffles, play your cards right, tea, coffee and cake mornings. All of which were an instant hit with customers and they have raised a whopping £1,713.92 for Heart of Kent Hospice. Thank you TSB, it has been great to be in partnership with you.

Make your Will this April and support our vital work.
Did you know? That nearly two-thirds of adults in the UK have not made a Will.
During April we are partnering with eight local Solicitors, to offer you the opportunity to have your Will professionally written or updated. Each Solicitor is generously waiving their Will-writing fees for appointments made during the month. Instead of paying the Solicitor for their professional advice, they are asking for a suggested donatio...n to Heart of Kent Hospice.
To find out more and book an appointment please contact Claire Ashby, Supporter Care Manager on 01622 790195 or email claire.ashby@hokh.co.uk

Three years after we cared for Trevor's wife, he is now a familiar face at the Hospice as one of our amazing volunteers.
Trevor says “I feel that I am giving something back to the Hospice for the care and attention they gave to my wife. By being there I feel like it’s being back in touch with her, like there’s a connection. There is a very calm, tranquil environment in the Hospice and everyone is very friendly.”
If you’d like to find out how you can give the gift of time an...d volunteer at your local Hospice, why not come along to our volunteer event this Saturday 8 February 10:00am-12:00pm. For more information, please visit https://www.hokh.org/…/eve…/volunteer -open-morning-8-2-2020/
