My name is Heather Young and I am an ITEC qualified Therapist in Holistic, Swedish Massage and Indian Head Massage. My work is based on a holistic approach. Holistic meaning whole. I am a firm believer in mind, body and soul working in union with one another, particularly mind and body, I believe these to have a direct effect on one another. I tailor my work towards balancing these, helping to bring about improved health and well being in the individual I am working with.

I have the privilege of treating many different clients, each with different needs, ranging from general aches and pains, Muscular problems and more acute conditions such as Sciatica. I also help other clients with emotional health problems such as Anxiety, Stress and Depression, and others who just fancy a pamper session and some “me” time!

I truly love what I do and I feel very blessed indeed to have found a job from which I gain so much. The greatest reward for me is to see people benefit directly from the treatments I administer, helping to release them from pain, stress and tension and to provide them with some time and attention just for them, tailored specifically for their needs to allow them to relax and let go and enjoy!
I am a mobile therapist which means I come to you, in the comfort of your own home, I find this works well as you then have no pressure to have to get into your vehicle and drive away, or have to wait at a windy bus stop! Plus you often feel very relaxed and quite often sleepy after and you may just want a nice snooze. And please do not tidy on my behalf, as long as you have an area that I can set up my massage couch that’s all that really matters!

Your first appointment with me will involve me going through a client consultation with you which covers medical history and lifestyle which is completely confidential, information only I and yourself have access to, this allows me to, with your help tailor a treatment perfect for you.

My prices include petrol, this is within a 10 mile radius of where I live in Staplehurst, Kent. There may be a small petrol charge If I travel further afield. I like to keep my prices as reasonable as I possibly can. I have a strong belief in the positive health and healing benefits that massage provides and I believe these benefits should be more readily available to everybody!
