Heather'S Portraits

Apologies for not being in work today. I had to give Arya her injection of Zycortal today as she has Addison’s disease and she’s showing signs of crisis so monitoring her health is my priority. I am spending the day editing listings and organising hundreds of pictures so working from home if anyone needs me. Keep warm and well everyone!

Another christmas commission, using a collection of photos i managed to place these three dogs together, one pup was particularly tricky as the only photos available were not the best quality, the recipient was my uncle so I had to make sure i got it right!

A recent commission I finished. The lighting was tricky on this one as both faces were a little distorted with shadow but after tweaking it a few times I managed to get the resemblance. Pastel portrait.

Last chance to buy a gift voucher for a loved one. Treat them to a portrait commission or book them in for a fun art workshop. Today will be my last trip to the post office if you are struggling to find that special gift left me take care of that for you.

Days like today are so rewarding. As a child I always wanted to draw, my school didn’t really support art and I was allowed an hour a week to be truly happy and try to absorb as much as I could in the time that was given. I left school with the advice that I should get a nice shop job as being an artist wasn’t an actual career. So skip forward 30 years and here I am , a full time proper artist showing children how to use pastels. Seeing them taking everything onboard to cre...ate the most beautiful pictures of their Chug dog in just three hours has actually made me quite emotional today. Hope and Misty are two sisters aged 14 and 11 they didn’t waste any time getting stuck right in and drew these pictures using pastels for the very first time How amazing are they! 🎨😜👌

Another present has been gifted! This photo was very precious, my customer had previously been badly let down by another artist after paying them for a picture they then didn’t deliver and was about to disappoint the only surviving member of this family picture to whom it was gifted. I am so glad I could help make their present special and I hope the recipient looks at his family and sees a few resemblances as older pictures can be a bit tricky. For this picture I used a combination of charcoal and technical drawing pens.

I started drawing him too big but got a bit carried away before I realised and by that time it would of been painful to start again 🙂 Sometimes it happens and they are happy with the free upgrade so it all worked out in the end lol. #horseportrait

What a gem is Heather. To think that we have such a talented portrait painter right here on our own doorstep in Daventry.

I gave her what I thought was no mean feat and she sailed right through it. The portrait is so accurate and lifelike its incredible.

Not only that though, Heather is a down to earth person, very helpful, forthcoming, good with advice for choices and just gets on with the job.

She not only kept her promise on completion date but was several days early too.

All that for a very good price indeed.

I've lost count of the amount of paintings and drawings Heather has done for me, every one of them goes above and beyond my expectations. Even after receiving several commissions, it still stuns me how incredibly true to life Heather's art is. I had a particular picture that I had in mind of a black wolf's eyes. I had seen various pictures on line, but none of them really grabbed me. As soon as I spoke to Heather she grasped the concept immediately. The finished picture just blew me away. Far better than I could even imagine. I love the picture so much and am a very proud owner. So proud that I have asked Heather to do more for me but in a completely different vein. Heather is a wonderfully talented artist and is unusual in that she can turn her hand to anything. Most artists seem to do one type of picture so if they do wildlife they don't do people etc. Heather does all beautifully.

We have recently moved house and to be honest the only problem I have with Heather's portraits is a: choosing which ones I want and b: finding enough wall space to hang them!

Heather was an absolute dream to work with. From the moment of contact to the finished product, she kept me informed, took on my comments, and produced something absolutely stunning for such a bargain price. I couldn't have been happier when it turned up on my doorstep - my spaniels look the same on canvas as they do in real life, and it can't get much better than that. Just have to think up some reason now to have another one done! Absolutely fabulous.

Heather took my call late at night and took on a rush job (24h) so that my gift would be ready in time, she has captured my son perfectly and put great detail and colour into the portrait. Heather has been a good friend since 1995 and when she finally started painting she really found her place in life, she has amazing talent and i've always wanted a painting by her, i've just never had a suitable picture. That all changed last year when i walked coast to coast. I finally had a picture i wanted. I commisioned a painting, a large one, nearly 2m across. When i saw the finished product i was amazed and so pleased. It now hangs in pride of place in my front room. Its photo perfect and whenever i look at it it brings a smile to my face both for the memories it brings back of the walk and at the realisation that i have a genuine Heather Hindle painting. I just wish i could afford another, but then i'd need to find another subject to have her paint... hmmn decisions. She's a fantastic artist, give her a go.

Heather done a portrait of my mom, I can honestly say she done a fantastic job on it even though the photo she had to work from was not brilliant.

As a big Michael Jackson fan, I was pretty distraught when he passed. So as someone would, I hit up a popular online auction site and found a beautiful MJ painting which just so happened to be one of Heather's. Unfortunately I didn't win the auction but felt it was appropriate to let Heather know how beautiful her painting of MJ was. From there, she informed me that she did custom requests and of course I jumped at the opportunity. I love the painting she made me and get so many people who feel the same. THANK YOU AGAIN HEATHER! After having my first painting of Audrey Hepburn done, I wanted to own more than just one painting from heather, her work is incredible and she really has no idea just how talented and wonderful she really is, not only does her talent shine through in these paintings but you can also see the emotion and intensity, especially in my fifty shades of grey print, which let's face it I was totally blown away by. I can highly recommend this fantastic artist as she is one in a million. Thanks heather xx
