When returning form the US with my assistance dog, and despite them having countless animals to worry about, they took care of us as individuals. Fantastic service, amazing people. Thank you! I called HARC after I collected my baggage and was told that Bella was on the way to them. I called them again a little while after and they confirmed she had arrived and was told she was fine and how long everything would take before I could collect her. When I went to collect her she was just fine, obviously nervous, but the staff gave me feedback and were so professional and caring.

I considered myself very lucky that Bella arrived in a new country and was so well cared for by animal loving staff. A great start for her new life in UK.

Third time watching Animal Airport and within the next few months Gelert (Welsh Terrier-12 years) and Pyp(Terrier mix-looks like Yoda-7years), will be visiting The ARC on their way to Yorkshire !

There was so much paperwork to complete for my dog's travel from Honolulu to London. The Animal Reception Center did a very good job of explaining the process and waiting times to me. Also, I felt assured that my dog was well cared for after touching down in Heathrow. Because he arrived first thing in the morning, the wait time to get him processed was only about 5 hours (Yes! That might seem like a long time. I checked myself into an airport hotel nearby). If a pet arrives from a non-EU country and at about noon, wait times are even longer. So I arrived later in the morning, easily found parking and sat in the waiting area, which has a vending machine for coffee and snacks, WIFI and a TV. The airline and freight company messed up some paperwork which caused a little delay and fortunately the HARC informed me of this glitch. When my dog walked out of the doors, I was so happy! We went out immediately and he decided to go into the small garden to smell the plants. Then I whisked him off to his new home!

My review is a bit late, as my dog came over to the UK from South Africa in June 2017. However, I was very concerned originally after reading some negative reviews. However, I had no problems whatsoever and my dog came out looking very happy and well looked after. Although you do wait some time with limited information and the staff might be a bit brief - we need to bear in mind that everyday they deal with animal lovers who are very eager to see their pets, but can become curt, irrational or demanding. My paperwork had a few hiccups in and they fixed it and released my dog to me with no problems. I think they deserve a lot more credit than some people give them.

My husband and I watch Animal Reception Centre at Heathrow in London on Netflix and we are just amazed and heart touched at the wonderful caring and concern of all of its employees. They go out of their way to make the living space as close to what the animal would have in the wild or naturally. They give the animals a planned, variety of fruits and vegetables and any other little critters like millworms, that they may normally have in their diets. Whatever they can do to make the animals comfortable, they do it!

As animal lovers, we thoroughly enjoy watching this program...getting to see each employee, all of the different animals they get in are just stunning.

If we were flying into London and bringing our cat,

Fleur, who is blind. I would not worry about her at all. I know she would be receiving excellent care.

Animals are The Lords creatures too. If you abuse them, you will answer for that when you go to Heaven, just like everything else. These folks will have a Crown in Heaven for them!!

I just had the pleasure of speaking with a member of your staff, who was THE MOST helpful. We are (as everyone else is) worried about flying our 2 dogs from the USA to the UK and she was able to put our minds at rest. Thank you Jasmine!

Awaiting arrival of two small dogs from NZ...we we informed that it takes approx 3-4 hours...unfortunately it took 7 hours..!!...I understand there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes that we dont see but...

Also...they weren't our dogs...father in laws who were following the following day....and although we were the designated receivers of the dogs no body asked us for ID to verify who we were...which we did think it was poor...and advised staff at the ARC accordingly...which we were told would be passed on to supervisory staff...in saying that was informed progress of the dogs..when there was something to report and they arrived without any paper complications and in good health....

I rescued a dog from Saudi Arabia. She was supposed to arrive on Wednesday. She turns up Friday at 5am . I’m told that it will take 6-8 hours to clear customs and checks etc. Oh and by the way she escaped from her crate during the flight “ha ha” did no one tell you? “He he”. No they didn’t. Not in mood for jokes. Well we’ve had some trouble getting her back in her cage. What are you picking her up in ? My car wasn’t big enough for a crate.

I notice other owners being reunited with their dog, so I suggest that I try that. As it’s already been 14 hours in that crate. No . My boss says you need to fit a crate. Wherever this boss was , I couldn’t see her.

I drive back to where I came from Friday afternoon m25 . Managed to rent a van for a very reasonable price “ God was watching “ . I get back to Heathrow having had two conversations asking what time I would arrive.

Ironic !

So I finally arrive and after roughly an hour they wheeled my Bella out like Hannibal the cannibal. Would you like to see the crazy dog ? Look me up “Bella Vivash” world traveler but never with these clowns �
