We just had to share Year 5's Remembrance Day Tribute, absolutely stunning!
Also thank you to all our children who have supported this years poppy appeal for the Royal British Legion. We will let you know the total amount raised when we have it! 🀩🀩🀩

Year 5 and some Year 4 children have been learning all about WW1 and WW2. As part of their topic and to coincide with Remembrance Day the children visited two local care homes to sing, read poems and chat to the residents to find out their experiences of the war. Such a lovely, heart warming thing to do. Well done everyone, you really made their day! # communityspirit # makingpeoplesmile

Children in Need
This year we are combining supporting Children in Need with Anti Bullying Week and would therefore ask that children come to school this Friday the 15th of November wearing their pyjama’s with an odd pair of socks.
The odd pair of socks is to help raise awareness for Anti-bullying week and is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!
... If children could bring a Β£1 donation in on the day and all money raised will go directly to Children in Need.
Many thanks for your support! 🀩

We are holding a coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support on Wednesday 25th Sept 8:45am to 9:45am
Once again the event will be held in House Teams and you should by now have received a personal invite from the House Team Captain with all the details.
Foundation host their own coffee morning in their unit, so please enter via the doors where you drop your children in the morning. If you also have children in years 1 to 6, we are more than happy for you to split yo...ur time but may we suggest you visit Foundation first.
A coffee morning would not be the same without cake so it would be much appreciated if you are able to bake or send in cake/buns/biscuits with your child on the morning of the 24th.
If there are any keen bakers out there you can enter our cake competition, bring these in on the morning of the event to be in with a chance to win a prize for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place!
If you’d just rather eat the cake, raffle tickets will be sold on the day to give you an opportunity to win one of the amazing cakes.
We look forward to seeing you all on the day and once again thank you for your support.

Duchenne Awareness Day - Wednesday 11th Sept
The 7th September marked World Duchenne Awareness Day. Duchenne muscular dystrophy causes muscles to weaken and waste over time, leading to increasing and severe disability. The condition affects not only muscles used for movement, but also the heart and vital breathing muscles.
We have a pupil with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and will be having our own Duchenne Awareness day on Wednesday 11th September. Pupils are asked to bring i...n a small teddy or mascot into school with them and we will have an assembly to raise awareness.
Many thanks for your support.
