Thankyou everyone for coming to the market yesterday and making it so enjoyable! And thankyou to Daniel David Jacobs for this pen and ink drawing from behind the Cheese is Grate stall - a snapshot of a day at the market, I really like it - thankyou!
Beer and bunting - what more could you ask of a Sunday in Heaton Moor?
Market day on Shaw rd this Sunday! We don't have a maypole for everyone to dance around to welcome May, but we can easily arrange a garrotting by errant bunting that slowly sinks earthwards as the day progresses. The bunting is a trap specially created for tall people and a delight for all children being carried on shoulders who take hold of it and carry it onwards down Shaw rd:) We keep ourselves busy with minor bunting issues throughout the day - it is rather beautiful bunting and I can recommend Noellia #Yanthia for all your bunting needs! Enjoy!
Check the market out, we get a mention! Thanks Rebecca Lawson for pointing it out:)

Lovely Community event coming up for your diaries at Heaton Moor United Reformed Church
Coffee is served today at the market from Nick of B'Spoke coffee outside the rather wonderful Seashell Fish and Chip Shop, two strides away on Derby Range.
Delighted to welcome you:)
Definitely :)
The Sunday weather forecast is looking good and so are our Traders! You never know, the day may have arrived when we don't wear our thermals and thick coats. The excitement mounts! Welcome to our Brexit free zone, our oasis of bunting, smiles and proper artisan stalls. Everyone trader is hand picked and either makes their own product or uses their own shoe leather to source it - see you on Sunday! This Saturday is Heaton Mersey Artisan Markets day in the (hopefully) sun! 11-3pm outside St John's Church on Didsbury rd.
Looks fun!
Local fundraising evening, happening tonight!
Pax-a-macs are on and the gazebos are going up! Weather fine at the moment - see you soon!
The oddest thing has happened, my new Market banner that was on the railings at the top of Shaw rd has gone! If anyone has found a banner in their garden or it's been handed in to anyone - it's mine. I can't imagine anyone has stolen it unless they have a market in Heaton Moor to advertise:) Thanks Heather
CatFish Kids will be at the market on Sunday:)
Just been to Heaton Moor market within the Heaton Festival - very happy all my fave stalls were there (Saddleworth Tea, Alam's, All About Pies, plus got some gorgeous savoury stuffed bread!) Excellent as always, hope the rest of the day goes just as well
Had a really nice visit today ,seemed fewer stalls but still very good.I got some lovely wholemeal bread and enjoyed it with my lunch today .
Brilliant range of high quality food and crafts, one of the few, genuine producers' markets left!
An excellent, very varied market, with lovely food, flowers, candles, jewellery, etc, and a very friendly ambience.
Always a good buzz with lots of real artisan products.
