Dog Walking
An experienced and professional dog walking service, where dogs can be walked individually or with a maximum of no more than three other dogs. Your dog’s welfare is paramount and we will keep your dog is kept on a lead at all times unless written permission has been given stating otherwise. We will collect your dog from your home and take them for a walk alongside other friendly dogs along the Hebburn riverside nature trail, the park or other dog friendly places. Walks are usually 45 minutes, but can be adapted to suit each dog’s individual needs.
Doggy Day Care
If you are away from the home for a large portion of the day and you don’t want to leave your dog, Hebburn Hounds can provide a dog day care service. We can collect your dog from 8. 15am and can deliver back up until 6. 00pm, or you can collect your dog on your way home. Your dog will spend the day with us at our house in Hebburn, will go for walks and will enjoy the company of people and other dogs. He /she can relax in the house or play in our private, fully fenced and enclosed gardens (weather permitting), which provide a secure, safe and clean environment to exercise your dog. The garden is perfect for puppies still in training, too.
Pet Home Visits and Pop-In Service
We offer a pet home visits or ‘pop-in’ service. Pet visits can be arranged once or twice per day depending on individual needs. Pets will be fed and watered and given individual attention as required, such as toilet break, administering medication, tending to elderly pets, cuddle time or play time. Feeding bowls and water bowls /bottles are cleaned daily. We are also able to check on the house, put the mail away, turn lights on /off, open /close your curtains to give your house the image that someone is staying there.
Home Boarding
We can provide a home from home environment for your pet whilst you are away on holiday staying in our family home. They will receive one to one care and attention, love, affection and cuddles, as well as their usual exercise, playtime, regular feeds and fresh water. Our service includes door-to-door, chauffeur driven transport for your dog from home as it is far less stressful, and completely overcomes the anxiety caused to dogs when left behind by their owners. Dogs settle more quickly with their home comforts around them including bed, food, toys and treats, arranged as they would be at home. As a house guest your dog will have daily walks and will enjoy the run of the big garden and the company of other dogs. We do require all dogs to be regularly wormed, treated for fleas and ticks and fully vaccinated (also be vaccinated against kennel cough).
Collection and Delivery Service
We are fully insured to transport your pet in our car to grooming or vet appointments as a Pet Taxi. We can also pick up and deliver bulk pet food items.
Reviews
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Christine and her family at Hebburn Hounds for boarding or daycare. Our very energetic 1 year old terrier Harry has a great time there. When we collect him he's obviously had a great time and is a very happy lad (even a bit reluctant to leave). He's always excited to go there for the day and loves it so much that he pulls us down the street in eagerness to get to their house. We think he may even get a bit annoyed at us for bringing him home after a day of fun. He has real affection for everyone at Hebburn Hounds and he's always pleased to see them. It's such a relief to be able to relax knowing he's in great hands with a family who love dogs.

This was our first real holiday without our girls Lexi and Willow, as we normally take them with us! Leaving them was not easy to do as we are ridiculous about them! We were very pleased and put at ease by viewing daily activity pictures on their FB page, which eliminated our anxiety! Hebburn Hounds is an excellent, well organised, family based business with an obvious love of animals, ran from their home! Couldn't ask for more�

Our little pup Rexy stayed with Christine and family for a weekend whilst me and partner went away for the weekend and he absolutely loved it. It was our first time leaving him and Christine made us feel at ease with her daily photos and updates. Rexy made lots of new friends and we will definitely be using Hebburn Hounds in the future! My Hugo loves Hebburn hounds! He is always exhausted when he comes back , after having so much fun! I think he prefers his walks with Hebburn hounds than us. Thank you for looking after my baby - just like we do, couldn't recommend enough.

Excellent service, we have 3 dogs one which never tires but after 24 hours at hebburn hounds she was eventually worn out! They can't wait to come back and see you in June. Can't recommend these guys enough!

Cannot speak highly enough of Hebburn Hounds. My Dalmatian has just had a weeks holiday there and she loved every minute.
