We were smitten by the chicken keeping bug many years ago and we have been hobby breeders of Australorps, Cotswold Legbars, Leghorns and others during that time.

We are enthusiastic in the extreme about poultry and our egglaying garden flock is 30 strong. It grows and reduces according to how many chicks from our breeding flock we have. We treat all of our hens as pets and we like to think of our flock as being adopted by fellow chicken lovers. We don't intensively rear our birds so they are all calm, friendly and interested in people.

We also have the privilege of meeting other existing and would-be chicken parents on our chicken keeping courses. This is where we get the opportunity to introduce others to the delights of chicken keeping at home.

Chicken keeping is easy once you know all the pitfalls to avoid. The best way to learn is to learn from experts. We try to make our courses as enjoyable as possible so give us a try as we welcome you into the chicken keeping world. Freshly brewed Tea and Coffee and home made cakes included.
