So .... this is happening in September and we will be there 😎. A fabulous weekend of all things organic; great music, amazing food and lots of family friendly fun. 😘

What a fantastic hidden gem, wonderful food, beautiful rooms, friendly staff, will definitely be back.

We went there just over a week ago and had the most brilliant burgers , they followed a charcuterie starters (tasty ham!) and we finished with excellent desserts, all in all , every calories tasted absolutely delicious ;)

Convivial atmosphere and friendly service....Recommended

Organic sausages and bacon that are also gluten free are virtually impossible to find, even in supermarkets that are heaving with products. I always look for Helen Browning's Organic as it's the only pork-related product I can rely on for quality - for me and for the piggies.

Nine of us enjoyed a lunch reunion. Sam, Ben, Tim and Chefs made the day & meal very special. RO has been a favorite of mine for many years and never disappoints. Very highly recommended for quality of food, imagination of menu and casual, yet perfect service. Thank you! Gwen & The Goddesses

My family and I visited here this afternoon. We needed somewhere to meet between our houses. I am in south Wales and my step-mum-in-law in Berkshire. I had a look online and found this pub. Their website sold it to me within minutes. Very well written and appealed to my sense of humour. Also the page on 'free from' was idea for me being coeliac. Child friendly, good I have two of those and dog friendly - also good, have one of those. The toilets were very clean, the food was wonderful, staff very pleasant to talk with. My children loved the rope swing and wendy house in the garden and a special bonus point for the breastfeeding friendly sticker on the door. I am really happy I found this pub. Books and board games too! Also they must understand cross-contamination and coeliac disease as I have not had a reaction to any gluten. I shall be recommending this on coeliac forums etc. Thank you.

Lush smoked back bacon, and what's more you know its good because it came from happy pigs x

Lovely bacon and sausages, I always look out for your products when shopping. Tastes fantastic and it's even better to know your pigs are well cared for.

Just had lunch for the first time in the chop shop today! Absolutely amazing! Food was delicious, service was brilliant and the glass of red was scrummy! Looking forward to my birthday meal at the Oak now!xx

Had a lovely tour around the farm first, then a delicious blt for lunch after. Finished off my sons sausages too, also lovely.

Great rooms, food, service and atmosphere.. loved this pub a genuine great find. We will be back, I'll book the pork belly in next time �

Gorgeous stay at Helen Brownings Organic Royal Oak we found the rooms to be luxurious I loved the roll top bath, dyson hairdryer, communal kitchen, organic toiletries, comfy bed the pub food was fantastic I had a fillet steak & my husband said the beer was spot on, to end our trip we went on a visit to the organic farm. Would highly recommend and would like to return.

Currently at the Royal Oak. Fantastic meal great service and lovely setting did I mention the absolutely gorgeous food? :-)

Bloody brilliant. The team made us feel totally at home, the room, the food, the wine and beer, was all fantastic (their bacon is outstanding) and we got to meet some very friendly and excited piglets during one of our walks in the beautiful fields around the area. Well worth a revisit.
