Make a half apron for yourself or as unique present. This is the type of apron that ties around the waist. Adapt the pattern to your needs. Learn how to cut the material, use the sewing machine to hem, add pockets, add binding/ piping to seal the edges and add adornments such as decorative buttons, your logo, your signature dish ... All materials are included but you can bring your own fabric if you have something particular in mind. If you would like to include a specific logo, picture or text then please send this to me in advance so I can print out onto fabric for you (£3 extra payable on the day) Enjoy your Sunday afternoon and leave with much more than an apron under your arm!

9 sheep and a sheep dog needle felted for a mobile for an eagerly expected baby girl. The expectant father and grandmother came to Ecclesall Textile School this week to learn to needle felt and to create this fantastic flock of sheep. Lunch was enjoyed in the garden as part of this family bespoke event.

Am training this pink Rosa Moysei (discovered in China by someone with the same surname) around my front door. The bees are really enjoying visiting the roses which then turn into bottle shaped red rosehips and continue to bring colour and shape. It's so appropriate to Ecclesall Textile School and my studio where there are busy bees creating with colour and shape. You can also see the Just A Card Campaign window sticker proudly displayed. This campaign is so important in h...ighlighting that every sale is valued and sustaining to artists and makers. I genuinely appreciate the sale of every card, or card kit, and understand that not everyone wants larger, more expensive art or creative kits. It is really is never taken as disdain if anyone "just buys a card". Appreciate the @justacard campaign in raising awareness that every sale is important to small businesses. Thank you #justacard #helenmoyesdesigns #sheffieldStitches #etsysheffield #etsyseller
