The Bait Box will be closed for a holiday until Friday 10th

There will be a coffee morning on Thursday August 2nd at the Tea Rooms, Allendale in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. This isn’t organised by the bait box but there may be a couple of our products on offer as well as many more treats, so if you’re at a loose end on Thursday 2nd then have a trip to Allendale to raise some money for a great cause

The shop is now closed until 8am on Tuesday, come along then for all your Bait needs

Following a few requests, we will be trialling a new opening time of 7am every day this week. This is currently for this week only but will be made permanent if it’s a success

Struggling with a bank holiday hangover and can’t be bothered to cook? Don’t resort to eating grass, call in to the bait box for all your needs... whether that be a Full English, breakfast sandwich or something lighter. If you call ahead we can have cooked food ready to collect so you can get back to bed

Why not call in to the bait box and try our delicious quiche, sausage and Branston pickle rolls or chicken and mushroom pies. We are now serving homemade coleslaw with all our salad boxes with countless combinations to choose from, as well as our ever popular pasta boxes

On route to Greggs (couple of doors up) I spotted Helens Bait box so decided to try here and thank goodness I did as I’ve found a little gem. Trying to be good I opted for a salad box or you could have a pasta box, amongst sandwiches, panini’s etc, Helen kindly said you can more or less create it yourself if you wish, nothing was too much trouble for her - a lovely girl. The salad was absolutely beautiful, all ingredients fresh, plenty of tuna/crab that I wanted but lots of other meats etc to choose from, I will definitely be calling back here! I took a picture of my salad which I will tag in - it was so good!

Lovely fresh sandwiches and the best baked potatoes loads of filling and fresh salad and lovely smiling ladies

Love their breakfast special, Helen even made an egg roll for me as I'm vegetarian, bless her. Good quality food at a really good price. <3 <3

Just been in to the Bait Box with my little boy. Service was absolutely excellent and the staff were so friendly. Food is top notch! Will definitely be in regularly!!

It's about time Prudhoe had a good sandwich shop. Quality food at a reasonable price. Best in the area.

I'm addicted to the Pasta bowls atm, makes a change from 'Chips' lol,

Helen did our food for our engagement party couldn't thank her enough for the lovely buffet she was so helpful and got everything I asked for, she even did a separate little table for the kids, wil definitely be using her again in the future thank u Helen

Helen did my buffet for my engagement party and the spread of food was excellent. Could not recommend more and will be using again! Nothing is a bother and she's so accomodating of everything you need.
