About Helicopter Services

Helicopter Services is a leading UK CAA approved Training Organisation also providing Charter, London tours and Aerial Services. Talk to our experienced instructors about currency, advanced flying, type ratings, instrument and instructor qualifications.

Helicopter Services Description

Helicopter Services has been established for over twenty years as one of the country’s most experienced helicopter training, charter, helicopter tours companies and now consultancy services.

Whether you are looking for a gift, helicopter tours, London tours, a VIP charter, a family celebration, or if you want to learn to fly, need to buy a helicopter, run an AOC, get info on Medical issues, you will not find a more professional company where customer service is second to none.

We provide helicopter lessons from the Private Pilot’s Licence to Commercial, Flight Instructor and Instrument Ratings. All our instructors are commercial pilots and as such, our students benefit greatly from their knowledge and experience.

Corporate entertainment, gift flights (trial helicopter lessons, London helicopter tours) and a wide range of helicopter charter from airport shuttles, sporting events, aerial photography, load-lifting and specialist flights are all part of our portfolio.

We hope you find the service you are looking for and look forward to being of service!

We are devastated to confirm that Captain Mike Green was involved in the mid-air collision which occurred yesterday. Mike was conducting a flight instructor course and was with a student at the time of the incident. Both pilots lost their lives.
We have received many messages of support and kind words about our friend who, as a senior instructor and examiner, helped and mentored so many pilots throughout the industry during his distinguished career.
It was an honour to work with you. Captain Green, you will be greatly missed.

Yesterday marked 3 years of Tom working with us and he decided to celebrate by baking a cake for everyone in the office.
Perhaps he should stick to flying 🙄

One pilot flying, one pilot taking care of the radio and one pilot navigating. No wonder we're all looking lost - chief navigator was taking a selfie break!

A very BIG congratulations to one of our pilots Peter Wilson and Matthew G Gallagher who landed safely back at Booker on Monday 7th August after circumnavigation the world in our R66. They flew about 32,000nm through 42 countries in 121 days making visits for their cause Three Journeys Round . We are very pleased to have them back. They were welcomed by family, friends and well-wishers on a damp rainy morning. Welcome home to our weather! WELL DONE to the pair of you. Outstanding Achievement!

Helicopter Services give an outstanding professional service. I have just completed my PPL(H) with them. They have a great understanding of their pupils and are incredibly customer focused. A massive thanks must go to Jim, Leon, Ruth and Tom. If you want to learn how to fly helicopters, this is the only company you need to use... A massive 10/10

User

An extremely caring company with a huge heart! There are lots of reviews that can effectively cover how professional and organised the service is, however I would like to present another side...

Terry is 22, he has mental and physical disabilities. It is real challenge to find activities that suit a 5 year old trapped in an adults body. Terry is obsessed by things that spin around an around - he LOVES helicopters and has had several remote controlled versions over the years.

So this summer holiday, we contacted the company. The chief pilot responded, he very kindly allowed Terry to visit. We were met by a lovely lady called Ruth (and her lovely daughter who also shared her sweets!). Ruth showed us all around, she was friendly, patient and kind. Terry was absolutely treated with respect and dignity and we could all see just how much pleasure he had that day.

Myself and his dad also loved the tour and delighted in seeing Terry sat in the cockpit of several helicopters, pretending to be a pilot. He then went on to witness one taking off (naturally from a safe distance) and he got very excited when the propellers span around.

I will never forget this kindness, it means so much to all of us!

In this tough world / commercial day and age - to find a company and its crew that are so generous is truly heart warming and a measure of a truly great organisation.

THANK YOU, we love you guys!

Terry, Charlie and Darren.
