had a great lunch at Hell Below, vegan menu to boot!
Went with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Atmosphere and decor were fantastic and the food was beyond delicious. Prices are affordable too. Would definitely return.
Went out of the way to accommodate, food excellent and cocktails even better! Facilities for disabled a pleasant surprise for a small city centre establishment. Toilet not used for storage as I had read, although there was access to the cellar but the door was secured and excellently clean. Above and beyond expectations can’t wait to revisit.
We had the upstairs room for a hot buffet for 25 people, the tables were set lovely when we arrived and the food quickly followed, lots of it and all delicious. It was a lovely selection that suited everyone there. The girls serving were quick and attentive.

Popped in for lunch, first visit and oh my good god it was amazing! Simple ingredients excellently put together. Unlike other places there wasn't too much on the plate, the perfect amount which is rare. Highly highly recommend.
Popped in for a quick lunch yesterday, and had a sharer main with my husband! It was delicious, and huge portions, we couldn't finish it! Great value for money, and they even have vimto and irnbru on draught!
Popped in for a Sunday afternoon drink before heading home. Service excellent as was the wine.

Me and my husband came for our anniversary for lunch. We had the sharing platters...absolutely delicious! Pizzas were amazing, pickled onion rings were great, cheesy chips, potato skins with chilli and chicken free strips..all amazing. Cocktails were lovely too!

Booked the Gin Master Class on Friday and have to say it was superb. From start to finish Jack couldn't have been more helpful. Food was delicious too.
Been in for 2pints place is grate for drink staff are nice to talk with drinks are reasonably priced I paid £3:90 and £3:60 so not to bad highly recommend to people

My friend and I came for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We ordered three of the sharing dishes between us. We were quickly informed that there was no mashed potato left for one dish, which was fine with us. We had it with chips instead. However our food took an hour to come, which is very slow! The food, when it arrived, was delicious. The staff were very nice and friendly. My friend informed me that the disabled toilet was also used as storage, which we weren't impressed with. A disabled toilet should not be an afterthought.
Lovely food but the place was absolutely freezing!! Not good on a cold day, we wished we had gone somewhere else.
Being told me and my friend that have designer shorts (not chavvy or rapey) ones you'd wear on holiday, we weren't allowed in, yet had been in your sister bar Eaten by Monster's and Depseys with no problems. I know where our business is welcome.
