Once more this year we had a great and busy year. Thank you everyone for this, however the time has come that we also need to recharge our batteries and enjoy our Greek summer holidays. Our restaurant will be closed from the 7th of August and we shall be returning fully relaxed and prepared to give you the best service and food on the 4th of September. Thank you for your continuous support. Will see you all soon!😊🏖

Dear customers and friends,
This weekend Greece celebrates the last weekend of Carnival. We shall have a themed carnival night at our restaurant Hellas Taverna this Saturday the 25th of February 2017. The theme will me ancient Greece and our staff will be dressed up as Greek Gods.
... You are welcome to join us and dress up as you like, either with our theme or any other carnival out, (Normal clothes are also welcome). It will be a great night with music, dancing, colours and other surprises.

Wow! What a lovely find! Food is just amazing and thanks so much to Tom for the fantastic service. Will definitely eat here again if and when we are back in Cheshire. 100% recommended. One of the best Greek meals I've had outside of Greece.

We've been meaning to eat here for years and never have. Well that's our loss!!! What a great place, it really reminded me of meals I'd eaten in the Greek Islands (not the touristy ones but the one's where you find the locals eating). No pompous surroundings to push the price up, just beautiful food and a buzzy atmosphere. We'll be making up for lost time with a return visit, that's for sure.

We visit hellas almost every week and it never disappoints! Amazing home made dishes including homemade chips, excellent value and above all, first rate hospitality... Though at this point we feel more like friends than customers.

We have been customers at Hellas since it opened and are great fans.



Our latest visit was to celebrate our anniversary (42). We had prebooked sea bass as it is a light delicious meal they cook so well. We were greeted at our table by a delightful bunch of flowers and a lovely card.



Food as always was delicious as was the Troodos wine. Sofia sat with us at the end and we had photos taken.

From the deep and rich flavor of stifado to the great fries and the tirokafteri for starters, nothing failed to impress. The merlot wine was a fine, decadent indulgement <3

A warm, homie environment and hospitality skills are so on point :D Today might've been my first time, but there will definitely be a lot more yet to come! Keep up the great job guys :)

Our first time visiting this restaurant, we are blown away with the welcoming atmosphere and the simply incredible food. It was finished off by meeting the ‘cook’ Sofia she took the time to come and speak to us, can not recommend highly enough we will be back very soon

I had my surprise hen do here last night and my god it was amazing! the food, the service, the atmosphere, and not to mention the greek dancing was all top notch. I couldn't of wished for a better night. will definately be coming back! kept a very pregnant bride to be, very happy!

I can t recommend this beautiful place highly enough. What a surprise last night when I walked in to find my son Sean daughter in law Shelley and grandson Archie there to celebrate my Birthday! Have visited this gem of a restaurant before, the last time to celebrate my 40th. We have never been disappointed! We had the Meze which was delicious especially the beef stifado! Can't wait to visit again soon and introduce our daughter when old enough. Great food, service and relaxing atmosphere.

Great tasty food, large portions, can highly recommend..just dont be a piggy and have three courses like me...no room for anything the day after! Still full �🖒

Food here is lovely, we had the meze and it was all really tasty. Staff were extremely welcoming and accommodated our needs (we phoned ahead with some special dietary requirements). The whole evening was great, can't talk highly enough about this gem of a restaurant. The food was top class and the staff extra special! If you go for the meze be warned though....skip lunch, it's worth it!

Fantastic place!!! We had my hubby's 40th birthday there and hired the whole place and it couldn't have been any better. The staff are so lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Greek music, dancing and even a bit of plate smashing for a special treat. Fabulous evening thank you all!

Ate here this weekend with a group of 26! Well done guys service, food, atmosphere brilliant. So helpful and friendly. Can't wait to come back! A hidden gem in handforth :)

Another AMAZING meal here tonight!! Had the meat mezze for the first time, and I would definitely recommend it. In fact I would recommend every single dish here!! Lovely food, extremely friendly staff!! This place is one of my favourite restaurants in the area! Only downside is... no dessert menu �
