We’ve just returned from a fantastically inspiring 4-day trip to Berlin with 24 Graphic Communication students and 1 from Illustration. We packed in so much; including an Alternative Berlin street art tour, sunset from the TV Tower, a tour of the Buchstaben museum, the Brandenburg Gate, Holocaust memorial, Mauerpark flea market, the Jewish Museum, Eastside Gallery, and YAAM beach bar. We ended our trip on a high with a studio visit and talk from prolific graphic artist Patrick Thomas. A great time was had by all, with lots of laughs and memories made. #mybcu

This year we had two separate field trips to NYC with just over 40 students crossing the pond. All major sights were visited and students came back, imspired and invigorated.
We’re already thinking of **NYC 2020** which marks the 20th anniversary since the great millennium field trip in 2000 when we took 120 students... never to be repeated.

Art Is Everywhere 2018 Mary Anne Hobbs’ annual art weekender returns on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 December, and they want your artwork!
The remit for Art Is Everywhere is very simple: choose any element of Mary Anne’s programmes, the music or the words, as inspiration for an original piece of art, and create it wherever you happen to be listening, as the weekend rolls out. A selection of the best entries will also be projected into Tate Britain in London, where we will be broadcasting our show in front of a live audience
