Helping Hands provide high quality Cat Care at fair prices. We work on the same format as a Cattery, We feed and care for your pets, clean their area, administer medication but the difference is your Cat stays at home !
Launched in 2007 Helping Hands have been pioneering the way in Domestic Pet Care Services. Our professional Staff Members, affectionately known as the Cat Ladies are highly experienced, discreet and devoted to their work.
Once you become a client of Helping Hands, only we take care of your pets everyday of the year. We don't outsource your bookings to other services, which is common practice between Small pet care services. Our Clients know that only an experienced, professional, fully insured Helping Hands member of Staff is Visiting your Cat.
We provide reliable and flexible services everyday of the year for our clients. We Purr along from Blaydon to Birtley and everywhere in-between
Please Note. . . . Each Year in peak seasons we use a Pro Rata basis for the amount of New Clients joining us. If you want to become a client of Helping Hands it is advisable to arrange your consultation out of high seasons. our Pro Rata is met very quickly between May to September and in December

My Mother ( Jean ) has always loved Cats. In the 1960's Mum had a wish to open a cattery so that people could enjoy going on holiday knowing their cats were being cared for in a safe and secure environment. My parents lived in a lovely country cottage with over an acre of land, so they got busy building chalets and accommodation for cats to come and board with us and the Cattery launched in 1968. Word soon got around about this new novelty business venture and the fact that C...ottam Cat Boarding Kennels offered a collection and delivery service for their clients pets, made this even more desirable for people who could not drive or travel to the Cattery. The paper clipping is from a local Newspaper telling the story of the Cattery business back in 1976 and the photo is of Mum holding two of our own cats. My parents were very proud when i set up Helping Hands. I've been in business for over a decade now ( 2007 - 2019 ) and provided thousands of Mobile Cattery visits for HH cats over the years, i think i have definitely inherited Jean's Genes ! ......
