Only just arrived not had a chance yet to have a look round but judging by the standard and friendliness so far i m sure ill love my time here

Had a fab weekend. plenty for the children to do. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff day or night always ready to help. Site is very clear.

Fabulous place to spend a relaximg weekend.
I'm not a fisherman ... but if I was this might even be a 5 star location.
Each time we visit there are improvements to the facilities, which are already very good.
If it had a swimming pool it'd be perfect.

Although very large and in quite a built up district, they employ a nice way of sectioning off areas to make them more private. Facilities are standard and fine, with an entertainment centre and bar that's handy when it rains, albeit a bit loud. The fishing area is particularly good for kids.

Although it's only a few miles from our house, we still keep going here instead of adventuring further afield. Pricing is fair versus other sites, however, we find the staff are always helpful, everything is generally kept really nice and tidy, even when it's really busy. If you have a problem someone will try and do what they can to help. Overall standard is really good and this seems to rub off on the other campers too, who are always friendly, unlike some others we've been to. Plenty of room for the children to run about and play, without having to worry. Some nice pubs within walking / staggering distance, although we just like to go for one of the local greenways and go nature spotting followed by a rented fire pit for some bbq & marshmallow action. They often have events on at the clubhouse too. I see no reason for us not to keep going back year on year. 10/10

Great site for families (we have a 6 and a 7 year old). Lots of entertainment at the weekend. A well-enforced quiet curfew means we all get sleep! One of the best sites we've visited in a long career of camping and caravanning.

Really great campsite especially for kids. Nearly every field has a kids playground, shop has everything you would expect and is reasonably priced on most items. Very well kept grounds and the staff genuinely couldn't have been happier to help. A couple of nice walks either around the fishing lakes I into Henlow village. Plenty of electric hook up points and pitches are well sized. They put us in a dual grass and hard pitch for our tent and we were able to set up facing the park right in front so it was easy for us to relax and watch the kids. Pegging in on our pitch (dual standing) was a bit of a pain so maybe a watch out but our neighbours didn't seem to have a problem so perhaps a were just unlucky. Lots of nice little touches as well, fire mats so you can BBQ and have a camp fire in the evening, lots of little hooks so you can clip your dogs lead to. Showers were great, toilets were ok. It does cost a little bit more than most sites but if you're camping with kids, it's worth it. Thank you Henlow Lakes, we had a great long weekend.

From when we arrived, the staff were very helpful, nice and warm. Had 3days fishing turned into a week. Had very clean washrooms and showers. We loved it.Nice fish as well.would recommend henlow lakes .to anyone who wants to, have a great time. And chilling out,

This is a wonderful place to come to showers, toilets super clean and the staff are excellent. This has got to be one of the best places we have been. To Henlow Bridge you have very high standards you have now got to keep them. Well done.

Good pitches and clean shower blocks. Great children's play area. A little noisy if close to the road though.
